Dion Jordan is on the reinstated list. Needs to set up "clinical resources" here before he can practice.

Chris Perkins@chrisperk 1m1 minute ago
DT Deandre Coleman here but appears not to be practicing

Chris Perkins@chrisperk 2m2 minutes ago
Interested 2 c if Laremy Tunsil lines up w/1st team today. Adam Gase making youngsters earn their spots. No free lunch.

Chris Perkins@chrisperk 53s53 seconds ago
Kinda like TE Dominque Jones. Big guy at 6-3, 275. But tuff position to get on roster. Loaded with vets.

Branden Albert just took off his knee brace. Let us see how long that lasts. Coaches force him to practice with it.

CB Jordan Lucas should get extended look at nickel w/Bobby McCain sidelined. Think Lucas 2nd team behind Michael Thomas

Liked the confidence from Jay Ajayi yesterday. Said Arian Foster signing has no bearing on his status or game.

DeAndre Coleman isn't practicing today. He is doing a rehab assignment.

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 13s13 seconds ago
Very few mindless errors (ugly drops, bad reads, offside, false starts, etc...) yesterday and so far today. Good sign.

This Foster Ajayi thing the reporters keep trying to make a thing about - is really nothing to get all worked up about. Will need both to play and be effective.

New Dolphins RB Arian Foster continues his work with a trainer during practice. He's... http://es.pn/2akDlb2

Dolphins rookie cornerback Xavien Howard is on the Toure De Davie, doing his rehab assignment.

T'hill seems very confident in what he's doing (drops, reads, throws). Think Gase was right about T'hill's mental game

Not yet sold on DeVante Parker but gotta admit the kid looks good. Just wanna see it for entire season, that's all.

Arian Foster wearing the 34..... I like it!!! It was just strange seeing that imposter Williams trying to do it justice

Just saw Grant drop a pass in drills. That was a concern for him@FLSportDebater

Doesn't matter what Jakeem Grant does, he does it fast.@FLSportDebater

When pads go on (probably Tuesday) we'll see about OL & DL. I'm putting lotsa faith in both units for now.

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 29s30 seconds ago
Gotta say this for the record...LT Sam Young is a big MoFo. Listed at 6-8, 315. He's Bryant McKinnie-type big. Huge.

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 10s10 seconds ago
S Walt Aikens intriguing. Good size, good on special teams. But mired in logjam at safety. I think the kid can play tho

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 13s13 seconds ago
My camp sleeper is DT Chris Jones. Effective in OTAs and minicamp, effective yesterday. Look for him on 53-man roster

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 20s21 seconds ago
Still undecided on TE Jordan Cameron. Good player, talented. But probably not repeat Pro Bowl guy.

I've watched Jakeem Grant for weeks now. He's not a sure catcher. He fights the ball from time to time.

11 on 11...LG Dallas Thomas, RG Billy Turner with first team

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 9s10 seconds ago
D-line for 11 on 11s: Branch, Mitchell, Suh, Williams. Turner and Thomas are the guards.

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 19s20 seconds ago
Cam Wake still looks explosive on Day 2. Thinking he makes strong comeback, between 7-9 sacks in limited use.

The passes are a little off the mark today during individual drills. Let us see if it carries over to team drills.

Jakeem Grant at his size has no other NFL value if he displays unreliable hands. Can't play running back, can't move him to corner, can't forge a career as a gunner on special teams. I hope he cleans it up.

Just watched Dallas Thomas get to the second level and block Kiko Alonso effectively. He is still a first teamer folks.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 14s15 seconds ago
Isa Abdul-Quddus now with the 1s at safety. Was Michael Thomas yesterday.

Max Himmelrich ‏@HimmelrichNFL 6s7 seconds ago
Jarvis Landry threw a deep corner pass to Kenny Stills on a trick play. Byron Maxwell defended it well.

Byron Maxwell just broke up a Jarvis Landry pass to Kenny Stills. Great play set up by yesterday. Great CB performance.

The Dolphins tight ends need to do a better job of bringing down contested catches. I'll be watching that the next month.

Foster isn't 1/4 the running back Williams was.

That's not what I meant, Damien Williams wore it the last 2 years. So he had the same number and last name as the guy who made that number special to most of us. It'll be nice to have a competent player wearing it

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 7s7 seconds ago
Michael Thomas is again the nickel with Bobby McCain on PUP.

Max Himmelrich ‏@HimmelrichNFL 17s17 seconds ago
Laremy Tunsil is currently lined up at left tackle with Ryan Tannehill at QB. Very interesting.

Arian Foster is bigger than I expected. Probably 2nd biggest tailback I've covered in Miami, behind Daniel Thomas.

Max Himmelrich ‏@HimmelrichNFL 1m1 minute ago

Max Himmelrich ‏@HimmelrichNFL 31s32 seconds ago
Currently: Tunsil, Thomas, Pouncey, Turner, James.

Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill with a completion to WR DeVante Parker.

Michael Thomas is on day two as the starting nickel. Don't sleep on Thomas, who earns everything he gets. No handouts for him.

Laremy Tunsil is the second team left tackle for the second straight day.

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 21s22 seconds ago
Starting DEs are Andre Branch and Mario Williams...Wake being used sparingly. That's smart & possible season preview

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 18s18 seconds ago
Kenyan Drake fumbles a handoff. First one of the season!

Kenyan Drake fumbled a bad exchange. Maybe blame the QB. Turnover

Jamil Douglas is working as the second team center. Yesterday Jacques McClendon got the bulk of that work.

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 10s11 seconds ago
Jermon Bushrod at RG with 2nd team. With all due respect to Billy Turner, awaiting Bushrod emergence to 1st team

Hull outside on the blitz, would've had Dysert sacked.

Marshall Koehn gets a turn to kick. First one is a miss

James Walker ‏@JamesWalkerNFL 14s14 seconds ago
Drop by rookie WR Leonte Carroo. Sloppy start by the offense so far in team drills. #Dolphins

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 25s25 seconds ago
Not sure DBs made many plays yesterday. That's changing a bit today. Stay tuned.

Kraig Urbik is the third team center today.

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 23s23 seconds ago
Today: First team offense=good. Second and third teams=yuck

The quarterbacks are off today. Tons of misfired passes. It's early, but day two isn't sharp from the passing game.

Chris Perkins ‏@chrisperk 11s12 seconds ago
A few bad plays (drops, bad reads, etc...) but still a clean 11 on 11 session. Overall, they look good today.

A fumble, dropped passes and bad throws? Your bar is low. Dolphins low.

Marshall Koehn missed a 33- yard field goal and made a 37-yarder.
