I'm still gutted but life must go on. Ryan would want us to be strong :( (okay yes this is being massively overly dramatic, but i'm in that sort of mood)

This is Moore's team... at least for the next few weeks. Who knows? maybe Gase is really is the coaching god that I think he is and finds a way to work through this.

Sure the show goes on, but expectations went from potentially something special to now 9-7 at best if lucky and fortunate with no real chance of winning a Championship.

That's just the realistic scenario. The aqua shaded perspective is Moore is Kurt Warner 2.0 and we surprise everyone.

If Ryan is out Gase will truly be tested this year as a coach with the only plus being he gets a free pass this year no mater what happens.

I remember this board once tried to rationalize losing Ricky to retirement was actually a plus because it meant Travis Minor could finally have the chance to shine and Wannstache would be forced to open up the offense. Ha!

My emotions are all over the place, but in the end we've been through worse, weve had bullies, we've failed forward fast, we were dumped for Alabama, and we saw a 62-7 swan song. So what's another chapter of tragedy to Miami fans. We're built tough to adversity. #FinsUp

All things considered, at least this gives Gase some time to plan for the regular season without Ryan. Might be able to play to Moore's strengths better than we did last year.

EDIT: to keep this on training camp topic - Gase's presser will be interesting today, to say the least.

Also keen to see our guard situation with Larsen out.. Just no more major injuries please ffs

true dat

The good thing with Moore is he played last year in a spot where winning was necessary to make the playoffs. Yes it was against inferior competition for the most part but it's still valid.

Now if he gets hurt we're all ****ed.

You may be a good guy, but I cannot get enthused over Moore

Inferior . . . Maybe, but division games on the road, in December, in must win situations. It was an impressive feat and we put up 34 points in both games. No he wasn't perfect (well he looked darn good in the Jets game for sure) but that is nothing to sneeze at.

I think people underestimate the reps he will get now with the first team and it will aid him tremendously if he has to play for an extended period of time.

He has gotta avoid those big hits better or he will not last. Now part of that is just the overall lack of gameday speed he saw prior to insertion but he must do better and protect that football. I can live with a gun slinger interception because I know Matt Moore is coming back next series to let it fly again . . . But turnovers at the spot absolutely suck.

But love his leadership, love his mentality and we could do a hell of a lot worse, plus his teammates really like him as well.

Go get em Matt!

Usually we get run over at the beginning or end of the season. Not usually in training camp. I am not ruling out a Dolphins surprise upside season, but it would take determination from a dominant defense and a powerful offense that is surging in December.

Nothing changes from a global perspective. Still have to stop the run and have a run game that will feed the passing game.
Moore has 30 days to get in sync with the first team. It beats coming in relief after 12 games. The biggest worry is what happens if Moore is injured? Miami has to address that now.
