Im sure many of you saw the game last night and i'll agree that u cant judge a team by its first pre season game..but did u guys see will allen get burnt and den get broke by that big tall white reciever the jagz got..i dont really know his name..i think if daniels was out there..first there wouldnt be so0o much space between him and the reciever because he obviously plays reAl physichal and doesnt like to give so0o much room and lets say he wouldve gotten burnt by that guyy im sure he wouldve made the tackle at the end and not let the guyy simply jog into the end zone..even jason allen (FS) was there first then will allen..at the time jason allen was playing man i believe and that didnt seem like his assignment to be playing deep..anywayz will allen suckz he's garbage..we should defanitly have my dawg travis daniels at the number #1 corner and let andre & will battle it out for the # 2 spot..ur thoughts???

Doesnt matter who you have covering, if a WR has that much time he will get open every time, and if a QB has that much time to throw he will nearly always complete it somewhere

I didnt think of that..true though..well he still got beat & daniels is obviosuly the best lol j/p :dolphins:

That play wasn't Will Allen's mistake. He was supposed to have safety help from J. Allen and he was out of position. For anyone to rip Will Allen is rediculous. He played well and he was the cause of the int in the first quater.

Will Allen is new coming into this defense....give him time to acclimate himself before judging any players thus far. He has tremendous talent and is able to play this defense. You just have to be patient with the new guys. Travis Daniels would have done better primarily because he knows this defense much better than the rest of the secondary with the exceptions of Travares and Yeremiah.

I thought Will Allen played very well . . just impossible to keep defending a WR for so long, especially a guy with Matt Jones skills (4.3 speed, 6 foot 4) . . Jason Allen played out of position the whole game . . and that will be corrected. But Will Allen is our number 1 corner, and I think he will have a great season. Travis is definetly our number 2 corner . . some may say number 1 but either way both will be our starters come the first game in Pitt.

um hey?? uhh uhh im snorry your not soooOoo smart. ur bad! edjumucate yourself up then get back to us k?

If your talking about all the plays over 50 yards. That's generally issues with your safeties which this team has. I'll be taping the game tonight so I'll definately be looking for coverages and whether it looked like they were supposed to dump off the play or have help from a safety (Your not supposed to be playing Man 30-50 yards down the field o.O )

LOL! One play and we are throwing Will Allen under the bus? Did you see him in that first quarter when the whole first team was out there? I don't care what any one says about our secondary last night. In the first quarter, our defense was lights out and that is the most important thing.

"That big tall white receiver" is Matt Jones. Hes learning the WR position, but still a heck of a athlete.
Only saw the play once, I might be wrong, but from what I remember it looked like Leftwich had all day on that 1 play. I dont care who the corner is, if their is no pressure, eventually the WR will find a way to get open. Even "the big tall white receiver" will get open. If I am remembering wrong, and their was good presseure, then Allen got burnt...Will or Jason or both. Its going to happen on occasion. Hopefully less and less as the season goes on!

Yup lets not forget Matt Jones is a beast to. Only 36 catches as a rookie last year but 5 were for 20+ and another went for 40+ and 23 of those 36 were first downs. Matt Jones is going to abuse corners with his size for many years to come. If Allen was man on Matt Jones then really that's the coaching staffs fault. It's like putting a corner man to man on deep routes against Chad/Marvin or Terrell.

Yea that is the sad thing, not only is there plenty of time for the deadly Byron Leftwich, they leave Allen one on one with a guy who is gonna be feared IMO like Randy Moss in the future . . and the safety is way on the other side of the field. If u wanna say Allen got burnt . . go ahead, but he and everybody else in the NFL would have got burnt also . . just not fair.

just wait until we see him play at least a couple of games, than you can start to judge a player. Matt Jones is a really fast WR and with all the time he had to get open plus the fact thats he really big, he should have gotten that TD

That play was Bell's fault. I believe they were playing deep thirds, and the pattern looked to be a deep post. Bell bit on the run, and there was absolutely no pass rush from the 2nd team D-line.
