Travis Daniels 100% by Training Camp

yeah we're lucky Daniels will be back healthy with this situation with Goodman...

i love td. i bet he scores the first touchdown picking off jason campbell

I have to agree with the last post to a degree. Daniels is average but i wouldnt say at best. With another season under his belt and at full health he may improve. Too early to say yet. He hasnt got pure speed but he may make up for that with experience.

I like Daniels because, while he might not make all the big plays (INT's), he's a very good cover corner and his height is an advantage we need.

Daniels was a Saban decision that was made because the better LSU CB was already taken (the name escapes me). Another pick made due to Saban's ego and his so-called "insider background" on players he either coached or recruited before coming to Miami.

I believe that player was Corey Webster of the Giants.

Eh, its not really a big deal. I mean a healthy goodman is better than a healthy Daniels. Although I would like to see him be a great corner for us, he isnt consistent and at 4.59 he isnt that fast either. He just doesnt make plays that this defense needs...he is nothing more than a Nickel corner.

Where does everyone get this from he was our best corner his rookie year. He is physical and rarely got beat. Last i checked everyone gets beat and he only got beat once that year. He played all year hurt. He is our Starter. Period. He is better when healthy than goodman. But Goodman did play very well for us through like five games. But Daniels would have started regardless.
