I thought travis daniels played pretty good.. Ya he had a PI but was tackling and making some nice plays. Any thoughts from you guys?
 
That pass interference call was BS. He didn't even touch the receiver until the ball hit his hands. All he did was face guard.
 
Travis has the learn the art of turning his head toward the ball when receivers eyes widen....
But hey.. they tried to pick on him and Howard... Nice job Travis!
 
he missed a couple tackles but I like him...he has great potential!
 
For a 4th rounder... He is playin awesome...
 
Travis will be our # 1 cb next year and for a long time to come.
 
Travis looked good out there....unfortunatley the refs were throwing the flag on us all day...what's with all the dumb penalties???:confused:
 
Other than the missed tackle on Smiths` TD, Daniels looked good today, I`ve been impressed with him all along. Now if Poole can just get back, we can get put Howard on the bench where he belongs.
 
i think Daniels is our best CB right now...He seems like a really good kid too..very humble and plays the game the right way. He might never be an all pro...but he's the kind of guy championship teams are built with.

Saban must love the kid. He knew what Daniels can do and he isnt afraid to throw him in. Bet Saban was really pleased to see Daniels still available in the 4th round. Tough position to play in ya rookie season and he isnt letting anybody down.
 
I was at the game...they called it b/c he didnt turn his head...plain and simple

he played well except for the missed tackle and the penalties

penalties can go away with help...so can missed tackles

all he needs is a good screaming from saban

played well though
 
yeah lots of defensive holding penalties, those pissed me off, especially when JT had that sack on a 3rd down and there was a defensive holding tha tlead to a 1st on the drive from carolina that tired the score (i think it was that drive)

anyway he played ok, but the penalties in the secondary were annoying...

shulters with the HUGE pick, tha twas great
