Travis Henry for Ricky Williams?

Rw>Henry.

RW's Contract > the new one that henry wants

Rw doesnt complain about being a backup/sharing time (or at least hasnt publicly) > Henry's whining.

That about sums it up folks. Henry's good, Rw's better. No one ever talked about Henry as a top 3 or even top 5 RB. He never will be. RW was and while thats no guarantee he will be there again, his potential > Henry's.

There are rumblings that Buffalo will eventually have to deal with the situation of Travis Henry wanting out (because McGahee will start ahead of him)......what do you all think about trading him for Ricky Williams straight up....I know one thing, the Bills-Fins games would sell out!!

NO

wow that is a horrible idea. If we trade Ricky, lets get him out of the division for one and second Henry wants to start which he wouldnt do here.

No Way Jose. Like him or not a motivated Ricky Williams is better than Henry or McGahee and although he hasn't taken a carry in the NFL yet I'd say he's better than Ronnie Brown also.

wow man im sorry but i dont have much faith in ricky anymore and although i do hope he becomes what he was i seriously doubt that and i would say as of now he WAS better than any of those backs, not now. I believe, and hope, that Ronnie will make Ricky look like as joke and someone we can forget.

Ricky WILL cost us some games (if he plays) regardless of what anyone thinks...if he's in a Fins uniform, do you all HONESTLY think that he's coming back because his heart is in it!!?? No, it's to repay money that he doesn't have...how else would he make money??? PLEASE SOMEONE enlighten me as to what kind of job he would have that would repay all the money that Huizenga was after???

Trades in the division are hard, and don't make sense in anyway IMO. Ricky does not have Henry's value right now. Travis Henry does not want to be a backup, and Tom Donahoe "dropped the ball," when he did not trade him on draft day/prior to the draft. Tom Donahoe overvalued Drew Bledsoe and traded for him inside the division, but the Colts when they were in the East did not take a 1st and 3rd from Miami and took a 2nd and 5th from St. Louis instead to send him out of conference which was a wise decision IMO. I'm thinking if/when either are traded it'll be for draft picks, I think Henry goes before the season to a team whose starting RB goes down in training camp, I don't wanna predict injuries but they happen and i'm guessing that happens.

Oh come on

Thats is a stupid idea, you should be smart enough to realize that, Trading for Henry would be a big down grade, plus He wants to start, Ronnie would be the starter. Why trade a pissed of player just to get him traded again?

I think the Feeley trade qualifies for that spot
Thats the first smart thing youve said in this thread.

Please point out a specific game and play that RW did not play hard as a phin. I guarantee there are no plays as such because he was used as a battering ram for 55% of the plays he was in the game for over his 2 years as a phin. Feel free to admit when youre speaking out of your @ss. :o

For one, you don't have to be disrespectful....2nd, I'm referring to THIS season....not 2 SEASONS AGO....that isn't too entirely hard to comprehend is it??

I'll bet you all that Ricky Williams will never be the same running back prior to choosing the reefer over the pigskin.

I think Ricky was the NFL rushing leader while using the reefer. The guy didn't try it once and and retire - he had been doing it for a long while.

My bet - Ricky returns to form much sooner than you think.

Ok youre right I didnt need to be so crass and upfront but I said what I said about his past seasons as a phin for a reason. That reason is that his effort was never in doubt as a phin so why would it be in doubt all of a sudden? This is not a game you come back and absorb the kind of physical beating an rb absorbs and lose years off your life for. Hes got a degree and notoriety he could easily survive off of that. Hes coming back because hes rekindled the flame for playing....

now im going to go rekindle my fire for reading erotic stories to the elderly
