talk is that Traylor may / should be coming back for the game tomorrow. My opinion, for what it's worth (not much to the FO I know) would be to keep him out for another week and a half and let him come back for the last stretch of the season. Another 10 days of rest would give him 20 days off from game-time basically (it's been a week and a half already). If his knees killing him....let it rest more as Detroit's running game isn't so bad for Zgonia and Big Daddy to handle. Traylor could use the rest imho as it appears it was bothering him for weeks before and got to the point he couldn't physically play on it. No reason to rush him back for tomorrow imo is all.

All I have to say is I trust them to manage that properly. If he's practicing and feeling good then I don't see why he can't come back because his presence is a big boost.

If we absolutely make them one dimensional then we should be able to dominate their offense.

you can't stop Kevin Jones...you can only hope to contain him.

i guess we'll have to try to contain him on the lions bench where he;s gonna be at all game guy

I have to disagree. If Tralyor was 15 years younger, then I would agree with you, but Traylor is at the end of his career....we need all the arsenal we can get at this point. Every game is a must win, so let's use all of Traylor's gas tank. Use him up as much as we can cause he will probably not be back next year.

Then you're one heck of a fan brotha cuz I love this team and have hope for the entire coaching staff but Lord knows they mismanage alot. Alot.

No problem. And it's exactly because of his age and wear and tear on his body that I'd just rather him save his knees for games against Jax, the Pats etc. instead of hurting his knees more where he can't play in the tougher games we'll face when it matters even more if Jeff & BigD can be serviceable enough tomorrow is all, especially with the Lion's #1 RB out for the game.

i think he meant "let him rest" now so he'll be ready "for the jags game" kind of following my train of thought.

What!?!?

That's like the biggest game of the year!

You misunderstood. I meant let him rest so he's ready for the Jacksonville game. We have to look at each game as it pertains to the season. If a player is hurt and you feel you can survive without him a game, let him rest so you have him for the rest of the year.

I don't know, if you let Traylor sit on his *** that long, he may come back about 650 lbs.

If he's healthy, then play him. I'm hoping that we get a big enough lead early over Detroit , forcing them to pass. That would mean the tractor can go park on the sidelines.

well if it was the colts run D he might gain 112 yards on the bench.
