Nose tackle Keith Traylor will not have to serve a suspension during the '07 season stemming from his arrest last May in Oklahoma, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.

Traylor was given probation on a DUI charge and a one-year suspended sentence for malicious injury to property. Aiello said Traylor's case fell under the umbrella of the NFL's substance-abuse policy but wouldn't reveal whether he was fined for the incident.

The Dolphins' signing of Liwienski doesn't necessarily preclude the addition of free agent guard Matt Lehr to the unit. Agent Bob Lattinville said he plans to resume negotiations today with General Manager Randy Mueller on a contract for Lehr

The article also says that the contracts for Hakim and Liwienski were both one-year deals for $720,000.
 
those are great signings for vet minimum or a little more..and im glad that the signing of Chris wont affect us getting Lehr, cause we need all the depth we can get at tackle/guard/center
 
Thanks for the link. Interesting that the Mare situation might be taking a turn for the worst. I also agreed with Cam when he said Mare was handling the situation great. Let's hope it doesn't get ugly. Cam/Mueller definitely are kicking butt and taking names later though. They are ruthless!

Good to see JT stand behind Cpep. Doens't account for much but it should help Cpep mentally.

EDIT: Who is the kicker for Denver anyway? Is it still Elam? Imagine Mare in that Denver air with his bionic leg.
 
Rosenhaus is so disgusting! Gets on the Sunday Sports Show with Steve Shapiro fighting back the tears as Olinde's agent because the Fins don't want him anymore. Interrupted Shapiro during the telecast to remind him to hug Olinde and was dead serious! What a joke! Mare will be fine. He's not leaving the planet just the Dolphins!

I dont feel sorry for Mare. You could make a point that he put himself in this position by not restructuring last year and he is a friggin kicker! He has regressed in his making FG when needed most. I say so what that he feels slighted. He is a millionare for crying out loud! He kicks footballs for a living. Many kickers in this league have played on 5 or 6 teams and do quite well thank u very little.

As for Liewinski (not Monica), I think this guy can play (doesnt he play center too?) I wanted him last year but it fell through. one year deal and we see what the guy can do.
 
Thanks for the info, I hope we can find a trading partner for Mare, and get Lehr undercantract. While Lehr may not be the answer, atleast he is depth or a servicable player until we can get one.
