Treatment of Players

dave wanstedt? how bout mueller? omg! here we go again. another change that wont amount to nothing.

Bonamego blew goats. Barbie Carpenter has been on almost every team in the NFL,
Gerbil Wilson has 5 tackles since leaving Miami, Benny Sapp stinks.

Really, you want these players on your team?

I would want those players cut before they make an absolutely mockery of the team on live television.

Those players are all awful, so there is no reason why they kept starting when they clearly shouldn't have been.

Im not pro Sapp as I know he isnt very good, but Carroll was the one that should have been released, not Sapp. Not sure why Allen isnt getting Carrolls playing time. Allen > Sapp > Carroll

because carroll is younger, cheaper, faster, bigger, was drafted by these guys and fills a different role. plus they were equally terrible, and carroll didnt show a lack of effort, he displayed a lack of knowledge/coaching and the coaches know it. carroll actually made a play on a ball against johnson on sunday. he has more upside than sapp. it was just a roster decision. i understand ur point. but honestly its marginal and doesnt make much difference. in reality they probably made the correct choice. at this point in his career sapp is what he is. and he was overpaid for what he is. carroll has more upside or potential to help this team in the second half of the season (in their mind).

ur looking at the wrong thing. it shouldnt be why sapp over carroll? it should be why sapp to begin with? why didnt we had talent in the offseason to the position that was so thin? the secondary needed help and it wasnt addressed this offseason

If they can't start for any other team in the NFL they shouldn't be starting for us either.

Your examples are painfully bad.

you must be forgetting that Ross gave Sparano more power this year. Ireland is not the only one making personnel decisions. Sparano now has a say in it and I feel very confident that Sparano chose Columbo, the worst move of the offseason.
So first Ireland doesn't have power because Parcells was here and now Sparano has more power so we can't blame Ireland.

Why exactly is Ireland part of this organization?

I'd like to tell you to stop before you plunge headfirst into the circular
trap that is sports internet argument, but I won't.

Proceed.

To me it sounds like he is calling out his teammates more than he is the coaches or FO.

"“It’s not coaching, it’s not ownership, it’s not the fans. It’s the players in this room that are doing dumb things and kind of getting in our own way,” Taylor said" I wonder where in that sentence he's blaming coaching or FO.... i must be blind, but i don't see anything in regards to those two.

However i get the point in all those actions having influence in players confidence.

I think that if we don't get 10 wins, we better clean the FO and bring new people, im tired of waiting something to happen with the same people up front.

I think you are correct. That Colombo move stank of Sparano stench all over it.

Reading Jason Taylor's quotes, I cannot help think that this FO and coaching staff's tactics are the reason this team is heading south. I think Taylor is dead on.

Players are losing confidence. IMO it comes from the team constantly canning players for mistakes has created a culture of individuals playing not to lose. Whether it is Coach Bonamego, Coach P, Bobby Carpenter, Benny Sapp, Girbril Wilson etc. this team has fired or cut players for failing since the start.

We can as fans call for heads, but you cannot run a team like that.

I am not saying I loved these players or coaches (the question is whose assessment put them on the team in the first place). However, players need to feel embolden to make plays and take risks. The team we see today, players play a step slow and are getting beat.
As much as I dislike the coaching staff and FO and will jump at any opportunity to blast them, I don't see how in the world you reached the conclusion that JT was talking about the coaching staff. His words were directed at his team mates and the young guys in particular.

These idiots preach youth, but have no clue how to develop a player! They make me sick!
