All you Tua doubters need to listen and take some notes.

Trent Dilfer, former Super Bowl winning QB and head of Elite 11 (the biggest QB development program going) says that of the kids coming through he's coached (Wentz, Goff, Darnold, and Rosen lol included) that Tua is the most special he's ever seen. (this part starts at 2:20)

Says his arm talent, quickness of release, foot energy, and sheer lower half strength can match up with any of them...but yet none of those are his best traits. He instead says Tua is the best LEARNER he's ever been around. That he would pick up critiques about his game and turn them into strengths in an absurdly quick fashion.

It's a bit long but really a great listen. Dude just seems to have franchise elevator written all over him. 2020 draft and season can't come fast enough.

thank you for posting this. good details from Trent.

What does "Rosen lol" mean?

You say Trent Dilfer, Super Bowl winning QB as if he belongs in the HOF for his QB skills. He was barely good.

He's found a niche, and is capitalizing on it.

He's a fantastic QB coach, that's for sure...literally all the top college QBs going right now have been through the Elite 11. Tua, Lawrence, Fromm, Fields, Hurts, etc.

I don't know how much weight we can put on what he said but that is one hell of an endorsement.

I also wanted to know what Rosen lol meant. If you're saying his name doesn't belong on that list I disagree. If the Patriots traded for Rosen the whole NFL would freak out from worry. The reason he's having a little trouble looking good in this offense is because he's surrounded by mostly garbage. Would any of our starting 5 on the o-line start anywhere else in the NFL? Our RBs look like crap but it doesn't help that there are no holes to run through but these guys are dropping passes and fumbling the football. The receivers?? They got the dropsies also. Maybe with Rosen getting a full week of practice with the first team he'll look a little better but he could use some help. I believe that if you put a high quality NFL team around Josh Rosen he'd show you something special.

Pretty much this.

I'm not exactly high (or low for that matter) on anybody based upon Trent Dilfer's opinion. A QB riding a defense to a title, isn't quite an expert to me.

Tua's Dad already stated he is not coming out period. He and Mom runs the show and wants his son to Graduate an get another year another his belt with Alabama plus, he needs to show me he can win versus good/great teams and so far nothing as he crumbles in those games. In a way it makes sense. He not NFL ready yet. Here is my take: BUILD FROM THE INSIDE OUT. You have a ton of PICKS. If a QB is there that you like, take him. But, I would go B.A.P.. Because, we need OL, DL, CB, S, WR, and RB first. Before we even think a QB. JMHO.
