I was wondering at what point my fellow finfans feel that the coaches would pull Green and replace him with Beck? Would it be after a few bad games or later in the season? Personally I think Cam would pull Green later in the season. But another question would be..IF Green was pulled would it be Beck or Lemon that replaces him? And why?

Lemon. Beck may be ready but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. If the season's a goner though, he'll see gametime. How about we don't speculate and let the games play out though?

Hopefully Green can carry us through and we don't hafta throw the Rookie to the fire.

I am really not trying to speculate or anything, but I was personally wondering to myself would replace Green if he gets hurt or plays awful. Really I am unsure of what Qb it would be. Cams previous relationship with Lemon is what throws me off, because I feel if there was no history I would automatically assume that it would be Beck. Why did you feel it would be Lemon?

I believe it would be Beck because Cam would want him to get the experience since he is the next franchise QB. I think after 8 or so games of watching he should be ready since he was drafted high in the 2nd round.

Why invite the Cleo man lovers back to the board? Cleo is here in case we're good and Green is hurt. Beck is here in case we're bad. It really is that simple.

It wont be at all this year because we are getting off to a 7-2 start with Trent Green. However if Green should happen to stumble he will be replaced with Lemon so long as we are still mathematically alive for a playoff spot. At any point in the season where we are officially eliminated from playoff chances(or all but out of it if we are like 2-8 or something, which wont happen) then Beck will take the rest of the games.

Are you serious???? A 7-2 start with Trent Green? Did you know that he is 37 and coming off a concussion injury, and has a subpar offensive line to deal with in Miami? I guess you're thinking of the pro bowl QB he once was.

I personally hope it would be Beck. If Cams bringing in of Green fails, I think they might want to go in Becks direction to be able to save face. Especailly with a rookie. Plus if Beck lights it up they look good.

Well this isn't nicky and c-pep so it won't be after 4 games! :Di feel that it depends on how bad "he" loses the games that he'll be benched! :rolleyes:meaning poor decision, picks, fumble and sacks/mobility in the pocket!

Would it be after a few bad games or later in the season?

if it anything similar to last year, with the offense have barely any production....it will be a few games. :tantrum:if it is "broken" then fix it, and fix it quick. we can deal with missing the playoffs but counted out after 9 games would cause chaos in finfan world with chants of "we should have kept c-pep!" or "damn you cam!":tantrum:

:rolleyes:lemon!

beck is the future, he is here to learn. adapt to the speed of the game and prep to replace green when he retires!:D

I'd throw beck in if we suck. Mise well at least give the guy a little game experience.

Interesting 1st post.

I actually could see us being 7-2, but that's beside the point and just my opinion. Unless you have obsevered Green passing and running the fin's offense, then you can't know his 1 concussion has affected him at this point after all the time to recover.

I think it would have to be Beck over Lemon. Lemon is at best a backup talent. We hope that Beck is a starting talent. Therefore, we have to insert him if the season is lost and see if he has the talent we hope he has. Lemon will never be a starter in this league whereas Beck could be.

A lot of things would factor into this decision, as mentioned above. I think the OL will start out better than it did last year. Green is gettin old and has had a concussion, but he has a history of being very durable. KC's OL was not so great last year either having lost their 2 best players, plus Herm's offense did not seem to be too well suited to Green. Cam's offense is similar to Vermiel's, and he should be very comfortable running it as he had 2 years under Cam while with the Redskins. The concussion was bad, but testing has shown no lasting effects. I also read a report that said due to the healing time he has had and other factors, Green really isn't much more likely to get another concussion than any other QB out there. His body may have slowed a bit, but there is no reason to believe his mind has. What the Dolphins need is a QB who can make quick and smart decisions. Green can do that.

As for who would replace him, it depends on why he needs replacing. Early season injury, it's probably Lemon. Late season, poor play, no playoff hope, I'd bet on Beck.

After we start the season 13-0 and have wrapped up home field both Beck and Lemon will start/split games between them as the starters rest for our playoff run to the SuperBowl, '72 fins you're gonna have company by the '07 fins!!!!!!!!

but no really I think by the end of the season both Beck and Lemon will see some time either if we are or aren't in the playoffs (hopefully we will be). How else can you truly develop a Rookie QB if they don't see some actual game time.
