Triple Team Andre Johnson Every Play!

I know this is not Madden and a strategy like that is ludicrous but seriously that team lives and dies with Andre Johnson. They have absolutely no running game. There Oline cant open up holes. They have no game-breaking talent outside of Johnson. Kevin Walter is a nice possession guy but I'll live with him having a big day.

We need Vontae Davis man up, Y Bell over the top (I'd prefer Culver in this one), and inside help from Jason Taylor. Even Crowder should be able to blanket Tight End Joel Dreessen. Let our Dline overpower the Texans Oline and maybe their running game opens up a little but it'll be fine in the end as long as Johnson is held in check.

He's coming off of 3 100 yard performances in a row. Aside from Revis containing him, Johnson has over 60 yards catching a game. He averages 16 yards a catch! Please come to Miami.

To put things into perspective, it was said we doubled Johnson most plays in last years loss and the freak still finished with 10 catches for 178 yards and 1 TD. Scary. And that was against a solid vet in Will Allen. As good as Vontae Davis has been for us, he's given up way too many big plays. He'll get eaten alive!

I will say the loss of Owen Daniels and Steve Slaton (in the passing game) has definitely made this game much more manageable for us and I think with Cushing out or pretty hurt, we can take this team. With the Fins being the much more physical team and the Texans being the finesse team, this makes for a good match up for us.
 
take any three/four defender out of our secondary. They cant defend anyone, why would they be able to all defende one player. Wilson would tackle air, Vontae trip over himself, Sean Smith would do well in pratice up to the game but then do nothing,Yeremiah would blow out his knee and give up lots of yard only to somehow catch him from behind at the last second. All in the same play.


We might as well leave Johnson compltely uncovered every play. Shaub will think something is fishy and be afraid to throw it to him.
 
Hard to triple team a guy, leaves other passing options wide open or the run game will eat us up.
 
Nah...I think we will be OK just make sure vontae or sean has a little safety help. I think dre has a decent game but not enough to take over the game. What we need to do is put together a few nice looonnng drives and keep him right by the gatorade cooler.
 
Johnson is not a factor at all if Schaub is on his butt eating turf.

:rolleyes2: Get real. No one is triple teaming anyone on every ****ing play.

And dont they have that Jacoby Jones kid? Get real dude. And Walter would kill us if you put 3 men on Johnson every play. Get a clue.

WV is right. What we need to do though is take out Ayodele, Wilson, and sometimes Bell on passing downs and insert Jones, Clemons, and Culver. Houston is NOT a running team and leaving in those 3 players will only hurt the team, not help. Clemons, Culver, and Jones are better cover men than run support(although Clemons may be good at both).
