nice thanx for the post. after last year, i think we all are freaked out by tropical storms.

Too me, it looks like wind and rain with a possibility of the game being delayed, if it is severe. This totally sucks! I hope it picks up speed or heads out to sea!

Steve

According to the News it could even be a Hurricane by the time it gets here. Our First game. I have been going to Dolphin games for years, every game, and there was only 1 time before last season "against the Panthers 4 years ago" that we had to ever think about the possibility of something tropical. Now our first preseason game we are watching the F'in weather channel. Last year it was our opener, this year it's our preseason opener.

Here's the weather report for it from just an hour ago. These things change all the time though.

The storm's next target appears to be southern Florida. A tropical storm watch will likely be issued tonight for parts of southeast Florida, as the effects of this feature may be felt as early as late Wednesday night. The worst of the storm for southeastern Florida will come on Thursday and spread northwestward into southwestern and parts of southern Florida. The main threat to Florida is going to be flooding rains and the potential for tornado-producing thunderstorms, but if the storm intensifies rapidly between now and Thursday, then there will be the potential for strong winds as well. The worst case scenario is for a Category 1 hurricane to strike the coast of south Florida on Thursday.

Ahhh Here we go again. God I just hope my place has power when this is all over. Its so hot, and without A/C its unbearable.

I like the fact that the offence will get a chance to play in wet conditions again. These guys did not handle the wet playing conditions well against Pitt, another preseason game with wet conditions will give these guys a chance to sure up their sea legs and deck hands.
As long as we don't get any more injuries, I'm all for it.

I think the Town of Davie will be cleaning up horse poo and sanitizing the rodeo ring tomorrow, as the Dolphins will be having their last practice before the Tampa game on dirt. Hey, maybe Olindo can kick some field goals too.

great. We need a dry field so our player can get better.
