ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the New England Patriots have reached an agreement on a one-year contract with free agent WR Troy Brown (Patriots). Financial details were not immediately available but the contract, which will be officially signed next week, is believed to be worth more than the league minimum.

I guess he just wanted to test the open market to see if had anyone had interest in him... with no avail it looks like. Well the Patriots could still use him, and when we play them we'll know who to use if they have to play him at CB again.
