The pats signed dwight and that underachiever from the bears for wr's.

ok sure hes been that in chicago with 6 different qbs throwing to him over his 4 yrs

he clicked with brady his last 2 years at UM, he was bradys favorite wr and goto guy, terrell will have a break out year with the champs, motivation of winning it all with a team that can do it and has done it 3 in last 4 years will be huge!

So does that same thinking make Marty Booker a super star seeing as how he did perform well in Chicago with 6 different qbs and so on??? LOL

My point was that he was a top 10 1st round pick and he didnt perform up to expectations.

Well anyway you slice it Terrell is still trash. I was elated miami never thought of bringing him in.

There's plenty of players that "click" in college. Doesn't mean they'll "click" in the NFL. Jason Williams "clicked" with Randy Moss in college. Do you think if he started playing football for the Raiders they would keep clicking?

Agreed.

Don't give us how good he was in college. Simply doesn't matter who's throwing to him. He is a piece of garbage.

There have been plently of great players in the college game that have never panned out in the NFL.

Beat me to it Byroan.. ;)

I think Brown would be a good slot guy for us. And you can never underestimate the effect of having a guy from a team with the chemistry NE has had. Brown would try to replicate that in our locker room, and he would tell other guys how they were falling short of that. He also knows the hard work it takes to win the SB and would probably let other guys in on that too.

:roflmao: short on wrs???

seriously do u guys even follow the pats team at all????
I mean i guess I cant blame u if u dont as they are winning the damn sb ever year but the pats wrs corp is loaded....

wrs with deion branch ( sb 39 mvp) david givens, david terrell ( watch his bust out year coming up) bethel johnson, tim dwight, perhaps pk sam, then u look at 3 TES ben watson ( he will be a household name soon, tons of talent) daniel graham, and fauria.

add in mr goal line td man mike vrabel and seymore on occassions the pats are loaded but troy brown is very important to the team and is needed back asap!!!!!

but to say very short on wrs if troy isnt back is just plain silly

First of all, as far as specialty players, I would much rather have ours then yours. Second, Randy told me Ben Watson is a great player, but an underachiever, and will never do anything that Randy has done. Third, We have Nick Saban.

i will remember that later this year some of you guys saying terrell is a piece of trash, sure players under achieve with teams but in many cases when they get a new start with another team they shine and do really well...

i just have a feeling david will have a great year, wont be 1000 yd wr but he could easily get 700 yds, 6 tds...

he wont be expected and counted on to do alot, he is the 3rd wr behind branch and givens.....

700 yards isn't exactly busting out. Your touting him like he's going to explode this year and be your best reciever. Terrell can't hold Deion Branch's jock.

I think the comparison of the Patriots signing David Terrell to the Dolphins signing Snoop Minnis last year is fair.

Exactly PD. Look, if he comes in and sucks, I'll be the first Pats fan to post it on these boards, but there is nothing funnier than the set-in-stone statements before the guy has a chance in a new system.

Excelling in a better system is not unheard of. I'm (and you should too) going to give the guy a season to see if he is good or bad. I suggest you do too so you don't have to eat any more humble pie.

actually 700 yds in the pats offense is alot, since they spread it around so much....

hardly fair when u consider the qbs, miami has a j????? and the pats have brady

brady can make many wrs all stars even if they arent all that, what is a j going to do with snoop??

im not going to trash snoop, hes a nole and loved him at fsu, although he let them down bigtime missing the orange bowl against ou
