There is absolutely 0 guarantee that any of that changes by sucking and drafting Luck. If it was guaranteed that Luck would be Peyton Manning for the next 15 years your idea would have some merit, but there is no guarantee. Also your theory assumes that we absolutely cannot get better without Andrew Luck, another ridiculous assumption. Plenty of teams go from mediocre to great. Pittsburgh is one of them. I understand the frustration, but you can't root for your team to lose that's just crazy.

Comparing Pittsburgh to Miami is like comparing prime rib to chop liver. Pittsburgh has a first class organization from top to bottom while Miami has one of the worst organizations in football at the moment. Pittsburgh is a consistent winner and Miami is consistently average at best. So what is your solution to fixing this team then?
 
I get the argument that Luck is going to win us 10 super bowls in a row, but how does everyone know he has the IT factor ryan1973 keeps talking about. I would like to know what your credentials are? Do you know Luck personally and can vouch that hes not a crybaby behind closed doors? Because as far as I can tell the media hypes all potential first picks and ryan leaf APPEARED to heave the IT factor when he came into the league and we all saw how that turned out.

Now I actually like Luck and think he will transition well but my point here is there is never a lock in the draft. Sometimes the ryan leafs are busts and sometimes 6th rounders turn into tom brady.

And almost all the time the Dolphins draft poorly.
 
Are we seriously talking about "Suck for Luck" after one game? The first game of the season, where our qb accounted for 3 td's, made good decisions for the most part, and seemed very much in control of the offense? I'll give you all that Luck is an intriguing prospect, but thats all he is, is a prospect. He hasnt thrown a single pass in the NFL and some of you are anointing him the savior of our franchise. Never will I root for this team to lose. This thread is just plain stupid.

I as a true fan in The Heart of Patriots country still hold strong and want my team to win every week. I will NEVER root for them to lose. Go be a jets fan if you want that.
 
so...was this guy crazy or are all of you wearing blinders

this is the correct outlook for this season

everything this organization does is epic losing

the stadium has turned from a football first, loud home field advantage to a gay party complete with gay music, colors and performers

it doesnt matter who is brought in - the dolphins logo has the power of the anti-midas touch everything it touches turns to chit

To everyone who has disagreed with me on this post I want an apology you are all dum optimists. the ironic thing is every thread now is backing up what i have been saying for the last 5 days
