True Fans want us to lose

Sorry bud i still disagree... we lost to two teams who are basically locks to win their respective divisions. I don't see this team having a shot at Luck especially seeing the chiefs and colts play. Come back if were 0-7 then ill tell you your the smartest person alive I promise Until then were 0-2 with 2 tough losses that could have been wins if we didn't **** down our leg.

I do agree with you on the new regime though. I think our team was 7-9 last yr on talent alone and our coaching keeps us from the next level.

I think your the real optimist because u actually believe we will get andrew luck next year. I think theres a better chance we win the super bowl this year.
 
I've been an avid fan of this team for 30 years, and never once have I rooted for us to lose. And I never will.

Its absolutely asinine to say I'm not a true fan because I don't root for Miami to lose.

Any person who can attend a game, or turn the game on TV or radio, and honestly root AGAINST Miami is not a true fan.

doesnt it make sense to sacrifice 1 season for a chance to draft the next Brady, Manning, Rodgers???

You do realize this season is already over right?

LOL! This season is over? No, I guess I didn't realize that.

Its not looking good right now, I know, but the season's far from over. We started 0-2 (and took a horrible beatdown from AZ in game 2) last time we won the division.

I'm not saying I think we'll win the division this year. All I'm saying is the title of this thread is nothing but crap, and I'm still rooting for my team to win. Seems ridiculous to me that I even need to explain it.

I guess what I'm saying is, I'm mentally unable to honestly root against the dolphins, and I think all "true fans" are the same way.

Thats not my point if you have read the thread im saying we are better off as a franchise finishing with 3-4 wins and drafting one of prized qbs be it barkley, luck or jones all who will be top 5 picks
 
I die a little bit inside, every time we lose a game. I turn into a miserable person for at least one day. 8 good days (wins) in a season means a lot to me than 1 to 4 good days in season. Right now we have a chance at 14 good days. Why don't we just root for wins? That's what fans do. We ROOT FOR OUR TEAM TO WIN. If you want to take the season off and not ROOT FOR OUR TEAM TO WIN, then you are NOT a FAN by definition. But when we are competitors again year in and year out with a franchise Qb, you can always come back and ROOT FOR OUR TEAM TO WIN WHEN OUR TEAM IS ALREADY GAMES. That is a bandwagon fan. That sounds more like what you are talking about. In summary- If you root for your team to win every game no matter what, you are a die hard fan. If you EVER STOP ROOTING FOR OUR TEAM TO WIN EVERY GAME, YOU ARE NOT A FAN. But you can always root for our team to win after we are already good and become a BANDWAGON FAN in the future. Maybe our team needs a change in the coaching staff or in personnel to become a much better team and I hope that happens. But I will never root for our team to lose in order for that to happen.

This isn't about rooting for them of course I want Miami to win every time but when they lose this season it doesn't bother me nor should it bother anyone else. YOU SHOULD ALL KNOW WE ARE A CRAPPY TEAM. major changes need to be made and its inevitable that everyone is gone next year. This job will be alot more enticing with a top 3 pick in next years draft. FACE IT WE ARE STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN. ITS BETTER TO START OVER WITH DRAFTING A FRANCHISE QB THEN DRAFTING A MID ROUND LB OR OL. THATS WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF WE FINISH 7-9 OR 8-8 and from what I read everyone is OK with that.

I'm not saying getting a great qb in the draft would be bad for the franchise. Drafting andrew luck is honestly probably one of the best things that could happen to the franchise. But tanking the next 14 games at a chance at Luck is not the best thing for the franchise. I know you stated this team is bad enough they wont have to tank, but that's overly pessimistic. We will see the true status of the team in the next several weeks if your points have any validity. My point in response to all this nonsense is your not a true fan or even close to a fan if you want the dolphins to lose. Just take this season off and be the fair weather fan you really are. Come back next season if we get one of YOUR prized qb's.

As I stated before come back IF were 0-7 and Ill give you some credit, but after 2 games I don't think the sky has fallen just yet.
