Lets get back to what this website was all about; supporting our phins and discussing the positives and negatives in a constructive manner. We sound like a Wanny team right now.

Ronnie is and will be fine. Did anyone else notice his blitz pickups? Especially in the first game. It was unbelievable. He is dancing in the lanes too much but that's because he is not using his instincts yet and missed most of TC. I think Ricky being back will also help since he'll be on the sidelines helping him correct mistakes.

Frerotte is more than I expected. Sure I'd like a young QB to groom but that doesn't make frerotte a bad option. He is relatively young as QB's go. The players seem to believe in him and he has a good grasp of the offense. I am very satisfied with him at this point.

The oline still has work to do but they are improved. And most mistakes are now technique and mental, not purely being overmatched. With Ricky back you will se some more improvement since he makes his own running lanes.

The d is awesome. Some technique mistakes and individual mistakes this week and was frustrating; but overall very aggressive and a lot less predictable. As they become comfortable and more instinctive they will only become more dominant.

Our Rookie class is collectively one of the best in the NFL. Especially given where they were drafted and how they are playing.

Saban is everything and more and the coaching staff he has assembled will have us world beaters very soon. I believe the reason Minny sucks so bad is less the loss of Moss and more the loss of Linehan.

On the subject of Linehan, how about the offensive playcalling? Very different and very aggresive. We will see more and better running plays once we stop with the stupid penalties and go from 2nd and 15 to 2nd and 6.

My only confusion is why we got rid of Ed Perry and why we got rid of Turk. That was a little perplexing but I'm sure Saban had his reasons.

Anyway, here's to making Finheaven what it once was and purging what has gone on in recent weeks.

:D

good poast yes i agree with you on eveything ronnie is outstansding blocking

against the jets he saved frerotte from getting lit up from behind

We shouldn't make any hasty opinions on this years Phins. They are still learning and until week six you can't make any judgement on any team. Look at the teams so far. Carolina loses to the Saints and then kills the next week, the Saints look poor against the Giants. The chargers are 0-2? The Pats look mortal. The Vikings ( a playoff pick by many) look horrible. We made the broncos look silly and then they come back and look fine. Vece Versa on the Jets.

So lets wait until week six to make any judgements

:D Good post I love my Fins, I hate to lose but the good thing is that it is 2005 and not 2004. It was a close game unlike last year I know come round 2 we will stomp a mudhole in those Jets and walk it dry

Perry and Turk were about cheaper options. He's trimming the cap for some reason that we don't know yet. I suspect he and Randy Mueller(sp?) are cooking up something.
