From 25 to 20.

Comment: Get a week off to savour a win over the Carolina Panthers, made even more sweet by rookie Ronnie Brown busting loose for 132 yards on the ground. Considering the expectations in South Florida this year, Nick Saban has accelerated the team's progress.
Key Injuries: RB Ricky Williams (suspension).

Those rankings are a joke.

broncos #5
carolina #13they were at #6last week
now i dont normally complain about these but 20 seems a little low i think we are around #15or so

not a bad list.

but the ravens are NOT #16.

and i hear Horn is hurt for the Saints.

EDIT: why the hell are the broncoes that high? come on. they SUCK. they got lucky on monday night and now they are awsome... whatever. :yell:

LMAO @ the Bills being # 15.

How in God's name could they put a 1-2 Chargers team at #7 in the league. I mean, they are a good team -- but you have to use their records as SOME indicator.

Now I know why I only go to TSN.ca for hockey news...

I know Power Polls are crap but that might be the worst one I've ever seen and it has nothing to do with where we are in them. For the sake of arguement...

The Dolphins are 2-1 and ranked #20.

We have more wins then 5 teams ranked ahead of us, among them are:

The 0-3 Raiders are 17th.
The 0-2 Ravens, the same Ravens who got KILLED by the Titans are #16.
The 1-2 Panthers, the same Panthers we beat last week are #13, 7 spots higher then the Phins.
The Broncos, whom we beat by 20 points are #5?
The 1-2 Chargers, who's only win came against a very overratewd Giants team is #7?

This is yet another reason why I keep telling myself not to look at Power Rankings....it is like a car crash though, have to look.

Read the fine print:

Note: Power Rankings are produced using a formula that takes into account a compilation of invidual player grades. Grades take into account statistical production, big games and level of competition. The grades also take into account which players are in the lineup to replace those who are out due to injury and are intended to reflect which team would win a game on a neutral field. We still have to earn the respect of a higher ranking, this is early in the season and before we are consider a better team, we have to be consistent. we win at home, lose on the road, win at home.

How do u explain Tampa Bay? They were 5-11 last year and some power rankings have them in the top 10. Who have they beaten?

They're wrong...but that's fine...I hope they keep us at 20 the whole year...it's good for our Dolphins to have a fire in their belly and a chip on their shoulder.
