Tua Doc

Flores it's Tua time, you want to win championships? you want to kiss that Lombardi trophy with confetti all over your face? bench the beard the time is now.

What an excellent Documentary. Honestly, I was not too familiar with him ( I dont watch college sports) But I a rooting for him not only because he is a Dolphins fan but he seems humble and worked hard to recover. I hope he wins 5 SB :cool:.

I think the idea that starting Tua will have any impact on this season is fan generated. Burrow is 1-2-1 and Herbert is 0-3. We are a 5-6 win team with or without Tua this year. Do I think he should play? Absolutely. My guess is after the bye. It hasn’t even been a year since the hip injury. I don’t think the coaching staff is in any rush to start him.

Man, that was good! Didn't think I could root harder for him than I already was but...I'll try lol.

The family sounds like they could cut an acapella record for Samoan culture. They sound really good.

I'm of the opinion that this is a mild overstatement...I think the team misses the playoffs with or without Tua. But I think Miami COULD have won the game Sunday with Tua at the helm in the second half. Not sure they would have, but I think they would have had a better chance.

I don't feel like Burrow is the reason the Bengals are 1-2-1...not when he's completing 65.5% of his passes, averaging 299 yards passing per game, and has 6 TDs and 2 INTs through 4 games. You can bet coaching is the issue there. When did the Bengals get their 1st win of the season last year? Week 12? Week 11? His offensive line sucks, sacked 15 times already, he has Tyler Boyd as his best receiver and the defense, while better than the Dolphins, is not going to carry the day while he earns his lumps. Bengals issues are 100% coaching. I've watched Burrow play twice this year and he's carrying that team and doing everything possible to try and win games but everything around him is failing, starting with the coach.

As for Herbert, that I don't know...I haven't watched him play this year. I generally don't pay a lot of attention to west coast teams.

The Tua situation is different than Burrow and Herbert. We've seen Fitz in 4 games this year. We've seen him fail when the Dolphins had the chance to win a game. The two picks in Seattle both leading to TDs for Seattle in a game we lost by 8. Against the Bills we took the lead 20-17, Bills answered with a TD to go up 24-20 and then we went 3 and out. He failed to answer the Bills. The NE game he throws 3 picks in the game, one of those from the NE 10 when we were at the door of scoring a TD and we lose by 10. I have to believe, based on what I've seen from Tua in college and on that practice tape someone posted, that he would have given us a better chance to win those games. He has been cleared to play by doctors and I can understand wanting to be cautious with him because of his hip so I'm definitely not one to say he should have started day 1. But it's time, it's time for him to start gaining experience, time for him to see the game from behind center instead of the sidelines, it's time for him to start leading this team because next year...there are no more excuses...this team needs to hit the ground running. I expect us to make the playoffs next year...excuses are done.

Lose with Fitz with a NFL that's had a enormous amt of injuries without a preseason and conditioning.. Save Tua for the end of the season or next year.. No sense in making a franchise QB exposed in this year of Covid.. This season is not a norm or as important as a usual year...

Just finished watching this documentary. I dont know how I still managed to tear up when I knew he would be getting drafted by us.

I am happy for him and happy for us. This kid has the "it"factor on and off the field. Extremely humble and hard working with a strong will and yet funny and laid back.

I am glad we get to see this kid grow on our team while he helps our team grow.
