Tua on the differences between Brian Flores and Mike McDaniel

wtf does it matter what teams think of the Miami Dolphins? Does their opinion on this team impact their play in the field? Do teams play us harder because they think we’re soft? Do they play us easier because they view us as an easy win? I’m 100% certain teams view their opponents based on how they perform on the field not based on interviews. I saw Tom Brady kiss his son on the mouth and cry in 2 separate tv appearances. Did opponents think he was soft and did their opinion stop him from ruling the NFL for 20 years?
I ALWAYS thought Brady was a little B****! 😉

It doesn't mean it didn't happen in Miami with Tua and others. If Flores has changed, that's great. But remember he's not a HC anymore. As a DC and Asst Coach in New England, he was great. Same can be said in Minnesota with the Vikings. Question now becomes, what happens if he becomes a HC again. Will he revert back to his egotistical and narcissistic ways, berating and belittling players and coaches alike?

Of course he isn`t screaming at players telling them they suck . Anyone with a clue know`s how much of a D!@# he was in Miami , Acting like that anywhere else would really jeopardize any shot he has as a head coach anywhere else .

I don't understand why he is bringing this up! The past is the past! There is no need to bring this type of attention to start your season.
He was asked a fairly direct question. Sure, he could have tap danced, but I don't blame him for taking the opportunity to set the record straight in this case.

It was probably cathartic for him, and may actually be a good thing.

I still laugh every time I think about the fact that he had to be in Pitt w Minkah after he ran him out

The Front office does that and were most likely stuck with that clueless coach for a season more then we had to put up with him and miss out on McD . No thanks , i`m ok with how this played out . Tua wasn`t the only player he was treating like crap .
That is all well and good in hindsight but it was bad procedure.

Let your coaches do their job and the Front Office do theirs.

Just to think that Tua is probably just now getting right after that. I'd have to imagine the defense mechanism he put in place that McD had to break down. Tua's best days are absolutely still ahead of him.

Damn, we all could use a McD in our lives. Dude really does build people up the right way. Learned from his own problems and has been paying it forward.

Excited for the future of this team
