Tua Tagovailoa shares highs and lows from his tumultuous third NFL season | FNIA | NFL on NBC

Before you get all self right

Tua could just as easily hear the noise thru T. Hill everyone on the team did
You just arguing just to argue at this point. He clearly stated it more than a few times.

I didn’t get that at all and at no point did he say that… so not sure what you’re talking about, but that’s something you’re just projecting on the interview. No evidence his family doesn’t want him playing, no evidence he’s not in the right mindset.
He said he talked to his parents and kind of sighed and rolled his eyes and said "they had a lot to say to me".

Great interview hopefully this team wants to kill everyone in their path for all the haters hating on them all the freakin time

I think it is just as likely that his dad went old school coach mode and tore him a new a-hole about holding it too long

What I think is interesting is that Tua has never feared getting hurt personally... Its been more about his parents and familly. Ever since coming into the league, Tua got hurt and played the same way, fearless... There's always been a guy behind him who could win games, just think of the hip injury and how Mac was still able to win games for that team. Fast forward to his first season as a Fin and he's actually the backup, then gets to play games and gets pulled at some point for something not injury related. Its always been about him not fearing injury on a personal level.

I think this time around he's starting to grasp the fact that him getting injured doesnt only hurt him, it hurts the team... And whether or not anyone thinks its the right mindset to have, this might be what actually leads him to protect himself better on a play by play basis. Dudes a ****ing warrior but his football team needs a QB.

Agreed, that's heavy projection. All I heard was, "they had a lot to say".

He didn't back up all the way in his chair and take a deep breath? Alot of body language there.

And I'm a pro-Tua, anti-over the top concussion guy.
