Tua Tagovailoa’s improvement is evident at Miami Dolphins training camp

For your consideration...

Roger Sherman 2019 on Bama’’s Tua

“I have no idea what he’s going to do at any given moment, and QBs like that tend to make tons of mistakes. Not Tagovailoa, who routinely delivers clean strikes to players I didn’t even know he could see.”

My eyes agree with 2019 writer Sherman - Tua doesnt at all look like a system qb to me @BigNastyFish

what a fantastic article, thanks for sharing..

Tua will Overcome, jmo I don’t think some pundits really understand the meaning of qb talent..Its not about size, arm strength, physique..

Tua has ridiculous Qb talent..Instincts, anticipation, hi level accuracy, improv skills, navigation of chaos, calm under pressure..Confidence, leadership..

Yep. Its the brainy stuff and intangibles that set him apart and had everybody in the NFL/college world calling him the 2nd coming (pre-injury). That injury played hell on a few of those traits as he was recovering...he wasn't ready physically OR mentally last year, looks much more close to it now...probably around 95%+.

You would trade Tua for a 59 year old Dan Marino?
If you had asked that question last season, I would have said yes and moved on to the next topic...

Since you asked, I'd like to see something. If each of these players were playing in the prime (which was the crux of the original questioning)...would you trade Tua for them straight-up? Why or why not.

Deshawn Watson -

Aaron Rodgers -

Russell Wilson -

Dan Marino -

This should be good....

I forgot the quickest release in the game..

Arm strength does mattter I won’t deny that, and Tua doesn’t have a cannon, but It’s enough I believe

JMO, most NFL rookie QBs have the physical tools to succeed. Most fail due to not having the mental tools - mental quickness, ability to remain calm under pressure, ability to read Ds. I'll be watching TT's "brainy stuff" all year.

Doubters will be silenced this year.

Here, here. This kid looks outstanding. I've tried to avoid talking about him and getting into the fray. He was going to do all the talking anyway but after seeing what he looks like physically, I am so pumped.

My eyes are not lying to me.

First of all, the thought of suiting up a 60 year old QB(Marino or not) is one of the dumbest ideas I have ever heard here. And with the daily idiocy at Finheaven, that is saying something.
Secondly, trading a 2nd year QB for a HOF level player, in his prime, straight up would be a no-brainer.
Third, Deshaun Watson has as good a chance of ending up in prison as he does in the HOF so I'm not really interested at any price.
