59 year old Dan Marino is still better than anyone currently playing the game. You would trade Tua for a 59 year old Dan Marino?
Don't ruin my illusion...

Not sure I agree with much of that…Because he has a faster release, better accuracy, and is much, much better at going through his reads and progressions.
I mean...Not sure I agree with much of that…
I doubt there’s many NFL people that would rate Tua above Trevor Lawrence as a prospect…of course we got too see the Freshman crush Alabama and Tua in the national championship game.I mean...
His release is objectively faster than Marino measured frame by frame despite everybody being mad about that (at worst comparable), he was the most accurate QB in college history until Burrow's monster season the next year, and Lawrence loves to take off and run before going through all of his progressions.
You can disagree with that, but it doesn't mean you have reasons to. People act like because Tua isn't 6'5", throws 80 yards, and runs a 4.2 that he doesn't have some elite traits.
^ Found the guy who didn't watch Lawrence outside of that game.I doubt there’s many NFL people that would rate Tua above Trevor Lawrence as a prospect…of course we got too see the Freshman crush Alabama and Tua in the national championship game.
Hardly…but I also watched Tua make mistakes against LSU that lost that game and was clearly not as enamored with him as some on this board are.^ Found the guy who didn't watch Lawrence outside of that game.
So you watched them both in one game and you're basing your entire opinion around that.Hardly…but I also watched Tua make mistakes against LSU that lost that game and was clearly not as enamored with him as some on this board are.
Again…I doubt you’d get much support for Tua over Lawrence amongst NFL people!
Repeating an opinion you can't possibly substantiate evidence for means zilch.Hardly…but I also watched Tua make mistakes against LSU that lost that game and was clearly not as enamored with him as some on this board are.
Again…I doubt you’d get much support for Tua over Lawrence amongst NFL people!
There are a vocal minority here that would probably take Tua over Mahomes. It's difficult to have a reasonable or objective conversation with them.Hardly…but I also watched Tua make mistakes against LSU that lost that game and was clearly not as enamored with him as some on this board are.

And twisting people's words to somehow justify your own opinion and openly call people idiots who disagree with you, doesn't exactly create an inviting conversation either. There are a vocal minority here that would probably take Tua over Mahomes. I find it infinitely amusing that you call others out for not being able to have a reasonable or objective conversation... to the guy who watched one college game to make his opinion known. There are a vocal minority here that would probably take Tua over Mahomes. Here we go!!!I find it infinitely amusing that you call others out for not being able to have a reasonable or objective conversation... to the guy who watched one college game to make his opinion known.
I don’t see where the poster did that? And twisting people's words to somehow justify your own opinion and openly call people idiots who disagree with you, doesn't exactly create an inviting conversation either.
