Tua ties Joe Montana

While the Houston game is one Tua would like to forget, he did tie Joe Montana with eight straight games completing 70 percent or more of his passes.

Tua finish 29-40 and now has a chance to break the record against San Francisco next week.
I’d rather see him tie him for superbowl appearences and wins…

With respect SF (and no offense ) because I know you are just trying to share some info, but that record doesn't mean **** to me right now - I am still pissed about Sunday. However, if Tua had won 4 Super Bowls like Montana ( heck, I'll take 1 SB), then maybe I would be happier. Right now, Tua's skill set isn't translating into wins when it matters, so anything else he does is meaningless. Honestly, his huge contract means he will be here next year, but I think in 2026 the Dolphins can cut ties without much impact. I hope they do. I don't have confidence in him anymore. I would rather start over all the way around. Get rid of them all!
I like tua great team mate

maybe build a team like the Steelers where you could plug in an old fart QB and win

some suggest getting rid of Tua but you need the rest first. holy **** its depressing any way you slice it
but a shite team without Tua is not a dream of mine
Pittsburgh's blueprint works and hasn't changed much over the years.

I love Miami's speed, but that simply isn't enough.

Too bad they don't count interceptions as completions! LOL

Oh please. Yes the o line isn’t good, but there are worse ones. Aside from that he’s surrounded by Hill Waddle Jonnu Achane and Mostert. Most QBs would kill for that. Put a top 5 QB on this team and we’re in the playoffs easily.
I guess with a Josh Allen type Miami would have a running game, and better success in short-yardage. Jackson too. So, yes definitely with a top 5 quarterback Miami would be better. I really do want a multidimensional quarterback.

Tua isn’t top 5, but he's bottom half of the top 10 IMO. He can't do it on his own, as few can. Why does Miami's running game almost always disappear against quality opponents?

I've seen some list Goff as top 5. Goff is really good, but he needs that running game too.

I get people want to upgrade quarterback and I also get the frustration with the team playing poorly against top teams. Tua deserves criticism there for sure. But I do think it's mostly being one dimensional against better teams. Lacking a consistent run game.

The better teams are able to dictate the run game at a much higher level than average teams.

My take, anyway. But I'm also not against trying to find a quarterback who can compete with Tua in the draft.

To be honest, I think passes behind the line of scrimmage should be runs. That's always seemed odd to me, although I get that it is a "forward " pass.

I like Tua but the dude is reckless.

He needs to go back and watch the tapes. Taking stupid risks is messed up. Tackling people with his head is just straight up stupid.
