Tua vs Lamar

To me, the blueprint is well established to throw off our offense. Plays the receivers very physically, with two safeties over the top. Make the refs throw a lot of flags - or start ignoring the holding. Put your best DL resources into pushing the middle of the pocket back.

We haven’t had a reliable answer for it. That is why Philly and Buffalo gave us so much trouble.

I don’t understand why we aren’t running pick plays until they back off - but what do I know. It only got NE 6 championships.
Seems like it should be hard jamming the wrs since they are in motion and fast. It's one thing if they aren't in motion, but then again, I think miami had an issue with wrs being held and no dpi called. This seems like the perfect time to have claypool more in this game tho. A wr almost the size of a tight end that will be hard to jam with smaller corners on him. Bring a physicality to the passing game to balanced the smaller, dynamic speed wrs like hill. I like mostert a ton, but I hope miami uses Jeff wilson more. The talk is about miami being more physical, well I saw it in miami cowboys game. Jeff runs angry and hard and he grinded out hard runs in the middle that won the game for miami. This is no knock on mostert, hes the main guy, but just talking about the different skills each rb has and what they can bring based on the situation

I still contend that there are "free yards" for Tua in the run game. I think he could take off and run more often.

But, his style has been effective. I think quarterbacks like Jackson and Allen are more apt to struggle when they absolutely have to make plays from the pocket. That's where Tua has the edge.

He’s slow as **** and when he does run with the football he doesn’t protect it well
