Tua is going to need around 3 secs in the pocket for plays like that to actually work. I'm still leery this line can routinely provide that.

And to think that we have two guys that can run a route like that!

Obviously we have all been burned before by off season hype but I am admittedly getting worked up.

I keep thinking how is a defense going to stop us. They can’t really play man as most teams don’t have two guys that can cover our two guys. They can’t play zone as that will get shredded by motion and shifts.

I wonder if the route in the clip is an option route based on the CB’s leverage, outside leverage run the slant, inside leverage break his ankles. If it is an option type route and they are synced up like that then this is going to be a fun season.

You are absolutely correct.

This is where the run game comes into play. The play in that clip was off of play action, if we have any success running the ball then the defense has to honor the run and not just rush upfield. That hesitation will certainly help a play like that develop.

20-25 yards. Hope he can look good in that range because I believe that's where this offense is going to live.
