Tuas record against playoff teams is 7-17 and even worse the last two years.

Exactly, you didnt read! If this is a team sport then it is a BIG failure to keep the one that has failed BIG time in assembling a team that can contend. We almost NEVER beat good teams. Grier!
That's on McD. 100%

Grier and Flores?

Different dynamic and didn’t work out. Thats a gm still picking his head coach. Firing Grier would be the opposite and sticking a gm with a head coach he didn’t pick.

THE hope is that everyone stays healthy. Everyone!

We blew the load on a 2-3 year window. Grier took a shot. McD had the top offense in the league. Tua played at an elite level for large stretches.

It is what it is. I still believe this crew can get it done, but staying healthy is the key.
Im sure last year we lost against top teams even with a pretty healthy team. This team just isnt good enough even at full strenght. Playoffs maybe. Superbowl NO way!

Sorry I meant you mentioned those two in your last paragraph and I didn't get the context. Maybe I need more coffee.

A lot of those losses vs good teams in the past seasons have come on the road. Other than Buffalo this season where Tua got injured we have been dealing with good teams better at home.
On the road many factors affect, weather is one of them, not for the Houston game tho, but I remember the crow noise was something that was affecting the communications between mcD and Tua and delaying sending the play in which in turn affected snapping the ball with enough time.
I believe things improved a bit better this year but there were a couple games were in reverted back to chaotic mode.

Next season. Will be telling as we have games vs teams in the playoffs this year at home.

I wanna see how we play these great teams as home without the weather factor and see if there's any improvement vs facing them on the road or in a neutral stadium . Which has been mostly the case the last two seasons
At least 10 of these losses are vs. the Bills and Chiefs. With three more coming from the Eagles and 49ers. These are all Super Bowl favorites. Which is weird. I remember when we had a string of seasons where we had beaten Super Bowl teams but didn't make the playoffs. The problem the last couple of years is teams come to play us hard now. No one takes us for granted. But we don't have that winning culture it takes to stand up to that week in and week out.

lol no you’re right I did. Typo. Had Flores on my mind because of the whole Fitz thing and how people think he’s head coach worthy after his time here.

And? We can't beat anyone when Tua is out........so anyone with half a brain knows we have a TEAM issue over a starting QB issue.

It's important not to hate Tua for this. This is what Chris Grier wants.

Don't blame the minimal talent getting paid generational money. Blame the guy that gave it to him.

The coaching is way worse than Tua's play against good teams. With better coaching the record might be closer to .500. But that is what Tua is- an average QB that can win some games but just does not have the skills to be a playoff winning QB.

Hard to be .500 in a 17 game season unless of course you were hoping for a tie somewhere. Lol

Ps 8-9 and 9-8 is pretty close to .500
