Tuna Rounding up his guys.....

Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com reports that the 'Boys could be sending defensive tackle Jason Ferguson to the Dolphins for one or more late-round picks.
Ferguson tore a biceps in Week One of the 2007 season, and missed the rest of the year. He has played for Fins V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells with the Jets and the Cowboys.​

Other former Tuna guys who soon could be joining the Fins include running back Julius Jones and tackle Jason Fabini.

Fabini and Jones could add solid Depth. Ferguson would come in to be are starting NT. I wonder what other player Parcell might be looking at. I hope guys like Pace, Smiley and Bell can be added.....

I'd be happy with Julius, I don't see it happening though. Fabini, however, is a lock.
 
What could it hurt as long as we dont give up too much and were sure his injury is healed. I hear he is older, he would be a good stop gap for a year or two.
 
so you dont have to use a pick on a running back, so you can fill another need, thats why you sign a back
 
We already have 3 good RBs on the roster, and the draft is loaded with guys who will be there in the 2-3-4 rounds.

Ferguson and Fabini are likely though.
 
I think Julius Jones and Ernest Wilford will sign by tommorrow morning. I mean if the Wilford rumor is true, then I'd be happy as heck. And I mean Tuna ate dinner with JJ, there has to be some chemistry going on there, he probably asked "Are you interested in playing for me and the Dolphins orginization?"

I've never seen Fabini as much more then a backup. Hes a classic 'parcells guy' from back with the jets, though, and he won't be expensive. I definitly see us signing him as depth.

true i hope the wilford rumors are true i like him and julius jones would be a very good pickup

Could Fabini man the RT slot for a few years, i think Vernon Carey stays at LT, we pick up Alan Faneca to slide in between Carey and Satele. We then pick up Smiley for RG.
Then we come up with a very nice lineup of Carey Faneca Satele Smiley Fabini.
