At 8:27 in the 2nd quarter seems this is when Tunsil might have gotten hurt. On this play Tannehill hits Parker on a quick slant for 11 yards and a first down. Tunsil moves his man safely past Tannehill into the ground without any real signs of injury. Tunsil returns back to the huddle holding his left arm. He played without any signs of injury for several more plays before the drive stalled. He did not return for the next series. Sure didn't look violent.

Great job researching. I really really hope its nothing serious

We really need all 3 of them back. We can't afford to slip up now.

Just a speculation based on watching tape: If Tunsil attempted to block but missed to connect, it could be a tendon rupture such as the biceps tendon. Man I can't wait for the suspense given how important these lineman are for the whole team and really this season.

It seems like if this were a significant injury we would have heard something by now. Obviously he could still miss time without having a significant definitive injury and I've been on edge ever since finding out he was injured.

He is the one piece I would want healthy even if the season were to take a nose dive. Mostly for evaluation at Lt for future

I think not hearing is sign of bad news.

If it was no big deal they would have said so. I think there are different med opinions and treatment options being discussed and then the bomb will drop. I am betting some kind of torn muscle or dislocation with damage in socket. I think he is probably he is done.

The lack of any info is disturbing. Feels unusual. They're probably exploring options to minimize the blow to the fan base.

Another poster has said he read speculation is a torn labrum requiring a scope. If thats the case, 4 to 6 weeks.
