Tunsil & The Never Ending Avalanche of Phins Picks All Started Here

He can't draft well and he doesn't give good extensions... This barely readable graph doesn't change that.

The thing I think he might do better than any GM in the NFL are trades. He always gets good value on them.

He has righted the ship and that is enough for me to let him stay on and forget about his shortcomings for now. He will need to improve his drafting ability in the first round and his ability to retain top talent (and to let lesser players walk) in order for us to keep this up for years.

It is fair to criticize the guy, he isn't perfect, and has been far from it in years past. This offseason however might be the greatest I have ever seen (draft aside).

A lot of people on here like to say that the coach makes a lot of the player personnel decisions when the GM makes bad decisions, so the same should go for when the GM makes good player personnel decisions, which to me means Mike McDaniel might be a large part of our improvement in this department as well.

At this point, I don't even care who is making the decisions as long as they keep making good ones as they have been recently.

have to include the picks we used to move up including last years first to get Waddle. But still
An absolutely massive haul.
Also the 2nd, two 4ths, and a 6th for Tyreek.

And traded a 4th and got back a 5th in the Chubb trade

I gets kind of annoying hearing people say we turned the 3 SF picks into Tyreek, Waddle, and Chubb considering that’s actually omitting roughly the total amount of capital that we gave up for Tyreek. It’s just not accurate.

Doesn’t mean the moves weren’t incredible

The trade was a home run but its in the rear view mirror. Bringing up Tunsil all the time isn't going to make me forget that we have no first round pick this year because our owner is a weasel. Hoping the Buckeyes tack on an extra 7 meaningless points at the end of today's game just to make Ross cry.

Selecting Tua 5th overall was the grand slam that has us where we are.

How crazy is it that one silly picture of a kid smoking weed sets into motion this whole cascading series of events leading to the turnaround of an entire NFL franchise.

You could say that about almost every single aspect of life.
