The draft is always crazy so who knows but I see some strange picks with this mock...

-I cannot see the Lions taking a TE in the 1st 2 rounds...They need help everywhere but the TE position in general is not the most important position to address in the draft. They're going to need to patch up that Oline and protect Stafford. Their Oline is horrendous.
-Childress already took a 2nd rounder on Tarvaris Jackson and now just used a 4th rounder on Sage. I cannot see them wasting a first rounder on another project QB in Freeman. They could use some help on the right side of their Oline.
-Cant see the Patriots taking a DE in the 1st, let alone Gilbert who is value in the 2nd round. Patriots have a lot of talent and even some depth on the Dline with Wilfork, Seymour and Warren. Believe it or not, they need WR depth and could use a nice addition to the LB to pair up with Meyo.
-Bey to the Fins? He's just a taller Ginn. He's got insane straight line speed but I dont see him as more than a complimentary reciever in this league. We need a more physical reciever who can run good routes.

I have questions about the three players that you have the Fins taking but would be really happy with this as the first day of our draft overall. I don't know that it is entirely possible but I would be really happy overall.

im not going to say i agree that the players you have us selecting are going to be there but i would flip if we got 3 players of that caliber.

The draft is always crazy so who knows but I see some strange picks with this mock...

I agree...its always nuts - but thats the fun of the draft

-I cannot see the Lions taking a TE in the 1st 2 rounds...They need help everywhere but the TE position in general is not the most important position to address in the draft. They're going to need to patch up that Oline and protect Stafford. Their Oline is horrendous.

Lions always do stupid stuff...but pettigrew would help both their run and pass game

-Childress already took a 2nd rounder on Tarvaris Jackson and now just used a 4th rounder on Sage. I cannot see them wasting a first rounder on another project QB in Freeman. They could use some help on the right side of their Oline.

Yeah, I gave them a center in the second so they could slide ryan cook back out to RT...as far as freeman, i think its proven that jackson isnt the answer - and sage is just a good backup. jackson might be traded or gone before you know it. but i can understand this arguement.

-Cant see the Patriots taking a DE in the 1st, let alone Gilbert who is value in the 2nd round. Patriots have a lot of talent and even some depth on the Dline with Wilfork, Seymour and Warren. Believe it or not, they need WR depth and could use a nice addition to the LB to pair up with Meyo.

well, seymour and warren are getting old - especially seymour. even their top backup (j. green) is over 30. plus, they have been injured on and off. gilbert just feels to me like a patriot crazy good 5 technique d-lineman. they can get their lb help (like i have given them) in the second.

-Bey to the Fins? He's just a taller Ginn. He's got insane straight line speed but I dont see him as more than a complimentary reciever in this league. We need a more physical reciever who can run good routes.

i actually dont love the pick of dhb, but i feel he will be the top rated player on their board, in a need position, if the draft shakes out like this. and whats with all the ginn hating? he has comparable numbers for his first 2 years as some of the top WRs in the league.. plus, he is improving - faster or slower than people expect - well, thats all relative to expectations. (hah saban) but seriously, ginn is good, but a 6'2" ginn would be great.

:)

There is no doubt in my mind Miami would take Cushing over DHB if he is there at #25.
