I'm working Thanksgiving this year, so I'm ok with Miami not scheduled.. I woulda missed most of it.
In the modern era the Bills have played on thanksgiving day only 3 times (none since 1994), I think the NFL is just giving them an overdue turkey date.
Lets get real for a second.
The NFL is a business. They are in business to make MONEY. On top of that, the NFL has proven in the Goodell era, that they will put making money over anything. They selected the Bills instead of the Dolphins because they felt it would be a better ratings draw than the Dolphins. Simple as that.
The NFL or CBS isnt going to give away money just to throw someone a bone or as you stated it "give them an overdue Turkey date". If CBS felt that having the Dolphins in that game as opposed to the Bills would earn them more advertising dollars, they wouldve chosen the Dolphins.
Again, this speaks volumes as to how low this franchise has fallen.

That speaks volumes as to how far this franchise has fallen.
The network has chosen the BUFFALO BILLS over the Dolphins to feature on Thanksgiving day. Thanksgiving is the biggest ratings draw of any day on the NFL calendar. They chose the Bills over the Dolphins. Let that sink in.
I have a feeling the Phins could end up playing the Broncos here in Colorado to open the season. Some of the radio guys here were speculating the Broncos could be playing in Seattle versus the SB champs, but Denver is on the road for their last preseason game, so Denver probably will open at home, and I could see us playing at Mile High for the opener.
What exactly have the Bills done, or currently have that makes them a bigger TV draw than the Dolphins? Even with the down years of the Dolphins, the Bills have been 10X worse for much longer. The Bills are not going to make the league more money nationally than what the Dolphins would.Lets get real for a second.
