Turning Off Chat Noises

Is there any way to do it? The noises are annoying.

Yes there is. Right next to the "VIP chat" should be a box that has a a number and says "people here." Click on that box and in the top right hand corner there is a little gear. Click on the gear and click on sound. Done and done.
