I remember making this thread last year and getting flamed and I expect no different this year....I stand by my belief that Tannehill is not the answer at quarterback for the Dolphins...Even if the coaching staff feels that he can improve, I am all for choosing another QB in the upcoming draft if they have a skill set that we can use. Think of Seattle when they signed Matt Flynn but they still drafted Russell Wilson. Dolphin fans need to lose the man crush and see a spade for a spade. I understand that we haven't seen a good quarterback for a looooooong time, but it doesn't mean our search should cease and/or we should be satisfied with mediocrity. Tanny is mediocre at the moment and his play on the field leaves alot to be desired. 3 Turnovers all leading to points or taking points off the board for us. I know alot of Tannehill apologists won't understand this, but we need to not settle on the first pretty thing that comes along after our cheating girlfriend.

What is sad is even if we won this game homers would refuse see how poor the QB play was.

RT has 10X the physical tools Chad Pennington had but he needs to fix the space between his ears.

It appears he does not think about some of the throw.

That was the most preposterous combination of drivel I have ever heard

I still support Tannehill. Every qb has a bad game every now and then, but it's hard to defend his performance today. The offense as a whole had issues, but his poor play certainly didn't help matters. Tough loss to swallow :(

Look at me, I think I was right so I've got to make multiple posts saying turnover Tannehill.

You're the coolest.

I agree with the interceptions but he overcame those with 3 TDs. if you blame the fumble on him I can't agree he barely had time to complete a 3 step drop. clabo is at fault, you can argue Sherman too for not running the ball. I still believe in this kid but his internal clock is off because of the pounding he has taken. lines can kill a developing QB. I think david carr would have been good if his line let him develop properly. but I'm all for double dipping on QB. cant ever be too set. maybe stephen morris in the 3rd, he needs good coaching though

We would have won today with Cleo Lemon.

I don't know about that, but I know a serviceable quarterback that could hold on to the ball when sacked and not throw interceptions would have won this game... ala Thad Lewis (Throws up in mouth)

What does his being from Alabama have to do with your crummy "I told you so" post?

If we even had an AVERAGE QB we would have won today, Nope though we have an idiot qb that is below average. Any average qb would know our weaknesses like Clabo and not just stand there waiting to get nailed but maybe be watching for that and run or possibly go other way, nope. What happened to all that talk staff about rollouts, where did that go? I thought the jets would have the worst team in history of football but have a better record then us and I thought that Geno would be the worst QB. I wish we had him, he will run when needed on broken plays and he has emotion and he looks like more of a leader then tannefumble ever will.
