Turnover Tannehill

The only thing Tanny haters must watch of other QBs is highlight reels.

And then compare RT to other QB highlights. Cause they sure ain't seeing that he makes some plays/throws that many QBs can only dream of making.

For a learning-on-the-job young QB w. limited college experience and very few real weapons + a OL that has been summarily horrid, he's just fine. Lots of ceiling.

He put 34 points on the board in the first game of his life in snow, with a busted thumb. He had one terrible decision/throw that bit him in the ass but he came right back and put 7 back on the board.

Not perfect, but all things considered he did pretty well today. Not going to call him a Hall of Famer after today, but certainly not going to call him a bust after today's performance either.

Troy Polamalu is a fantastic player, btw.

Let's not forget the 1st quarter, should have had a pick 6 against him then too.

Since Tannehill has been in the league 2 years and I've been watching NFL ball for 29 years and college ball for 20... I'd say I've seen alot of quarterbacks

I mean currently, on a season long basis how many guys are you watching? Who are you comparing him to? What are your expectations? Cause I just saw a guy haul ass today and continue his growth. Some of us may just be hoping he's the guy because it's been so long. But it works both ways, plenty of people have grown pessimistic over the years and expect failure.

and to think... you (and many others) thought the game was over when it was 7-0 with 4 minutes left in the 1st quarter

lets not forget... you're the worst poster in finheaven history.

what happened to all those thumbs down you had for me? lol!

GREAT win lead by our QB. Makes a mistake and shakes it off with TWO more scoring drives. Keep watching the weeks top 10 plays and expecting the whole game to look like that, ill just sit back and enjoy the W.

I enjoyed the win and the mistake free 4th quarter by Tannehill...

Tanny tried to look off the DBs by staring outside at Hartline and then came back inside for the slant. Polamulu sniffed it out. Simple as that.

Madden may have been right, this was a breakout game for Tannehill. Stepped up big when it mattered most.

I remember making this thread last year and getting flamed and I expect no different this year....I stand by my belief that Tannehill is not the answer at quarterback for the Dolphins...Even if the coaching staff feels that he can improve, I am all for choosing another QB in the upcoming draft if they have a skill set that we can use. Think of Seattle when they signed Matt Flynn but they still drafted Russell Wilson. Dolphin fans need to lose the man crush and see a spade for a spade. I understand that we haven't seen a good quarterback for a looooooong time, but it doesn't mean our search should cease and/or we should be satisfied with mediocrity. Tanny is mediocre at the moment and his play on the field leaves alot to be desired. 3 Turnovers all leading to points or taking points off the board for us. I know alot of Tannehill apologists won't understand this, but we need to not settle on the first pretty thing that comes along after our cheating girlfriend.

I know I will probably get an warning for this but, oh well. STFU..Ryan Tannehill could eclipse 4,000 passing yards this season, joining Dan Marino as the only Dolphins quarterbacks to achieve the feat.

Marino is the only quarterback in the Dolphins’ 48-year history to throw for at least 4,000 yards (he did it six times). Bob Griese never did it. Neither did Jay Fielder or Chad Pennington.

His balls dropped today. Long live Tannehill.

Yet another asinine thread started in the middle of the game.

He had a good game today absent the underthrows, pick 6 and near pick 6. Simple and plain I am pleased by his overall play today.. if you fanatics choose to read before responding to the thread, you would see that. I just hope he doesn't continue the trend of playing well and then playing bad. good win, go enjoy it!
