Turnover Tannehill

Another stupid thread at the beginning of the game. You think people would learn. Homerism at its finest!

I remember making this thread last year and getting flamed and I expect no different this year....I stand by my belief that Tannehill is not the answer at quarterback for the Dolphins...Even if the coaching staff feels that he can improve, I am all for choosing another QB in the upcoming draft if they have a skill set that we can use. Think of Seattle when they signed Matt Flynn but they still drafted Russell Wilson. Dolphin fans need to lose the man crush and see a spade for a spade. I understand that we haven't seen a good quarterback for a looooooong time, but it doesn't mean our search should cease and/or we should be satisfied with mediocrity. Tanny is mediocre at the moment and his play on the field leaves alot to be desired. 3 Turnovers all leading to points or taking points off the board for us. I know alot of Tannehill apologists won't understand this, but we need to not settle on the first pretty thing that comes along after our cheating girlfriend.

Oh well....the T-Hill haters are like roaches.....they come out at night :-( bottom-line, T-Hill can play period, the Phinz FINALLY have a good QB and it's T-Hill :-)

Well you should know how the T-Hill haters are by now :-)

The first near pick by Polamalu, I'm not sure if that was a fantastic play, a miscommunication with Sims, or a terrible read. I give him the benefit of the doubt on it for now.

and to think... you (and many others) thought the game was over when it was 7-0 with 4 minutes left in the 1st quarter

I'm stunned that we won, and I credit the following players for coming up huge: Clay, Hartline, Thomas (yes, Thomas!!), Tannehill, and that ENTIRE OL. Our defense struggled in the second half and the offense somehow found a way to get 24 points on the board after halftime.

That Hartline catch was fantastic. I've waffled back and forth on whether or not Brian was worth what we paid him, but right now I'm firmly in the 'definitely worth it' camp.

Amazing team victory and much as blame should be shared when the team loses, credit should definitely be shared when we win. Huge plays by Hartline, Clay, and Thomas to help the QB out.

I know some of you guys don't read before you post, but overall, I am pleased by his play today absent a few mistakes.. most of you are responding to posts from months ago thinking they were posted after today's win.. sheesh... learn to read please people. The game today was excellent and our whole team made big plays to win!!

I like our WR's. We get Gibby back next year, and we're good.

Hartline has impressed me the last couple of weeks showing YAC and making a couple of absolutely phenomenal catches. The receivers in general really seem to be stepping up right now.

I'm so sick of your tired act. You come on here before the game is even over trying to make your weak argument. Let's see if you're man enough to eat some crow now. Doubt it--you're just a little man who loves to trash, but today you've been exposed as a total fool. We don't win without Tannehill today. Period. How about giving away your jersey to a real fan.

He only had 1 pick. Also Tannehill now has 20 TDs. One more and Tannehill will have the most Tds by a QB in a season since Marino. 3 more and it's the most for the entire team in a season since Marino!

Yeah, I love Hartline's work on the sidelines. He's special there, and now he's starting to get come YAC's. This group can be very productive with another camp together.

I still believe in this kid but his internal clock is off because of the pounding he has taken.

Bingo. A cogent argument for Tannehill's struggles this yr.

At least, this coaching staff isn't blowing an airhorn after 3 seconds to "improve" RT's timing like Lee did w/ Henne.

Two years in a role you've made this thread and got flamed. Maybe it's time to hang it up?

Yep. Say what you want about this coaching staff, at least it's not Dan Henning. And I really hate Mike Sherman right now, so...
