‘Twas the day of the first game with hype in the air
All of the fans were getting ready with some extra flare;

The jerseys were hung in the closet with care,
With excitement that the game soon would be there;

The fans were waking with excitement in their eyes,
With hopes that the Dolphins will claim the top prize;

As they put their Dolphins gear on themselves to wear,
They began to realize that they have nothing to fear;

With Tannehill in his third year and promise abound,
And the defense on the other side to help all around;

You’ve got Wallace and Hartline on the outside to catch,
With Gibson and Landry ready to scrap and scratch;

Clay is the man who’s the safety net,
Having him there makes Belichick sweat;

Moreno and Miller are set to run,
Over Patriots defenders while they melt in the sun;

Albert and James lead the big men up front,
As they search the defense for the next man to hunt;

There’s Wake and Starks and Vernon too,
Ready to sack Brady because that’s what they do;

Grimes and Finnegan are the players to watch,
As they get set to cover and ready to launch;

They’ll be helped by Taylor and Davis in the slot,
Hoping one of them will step up and start to get hot;

Behind them is Delmas and Wilson to cover,
And also to hit the receiver so hard that they can’t recover;

Of course don’t forget about the linebackers too,
The offensive line is what they need to cut through;

The Dolphins are stronger together this year,
And they’ll give us a reason all season to cheer.

That's awesome. I was taking a dump earlier thinking about that I couldn't sleep and how tonight was so much better than the night before christmas with this (not exact) poem running thru my head. You nailed it. I had to flush mine.

I personally liked the line about Moreno and miller running over exhauster pats players. I think that is gonna be the case tomorrow.
