Oakland - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
Andrew Walter and Aaron Brooks just are not getting it done.
Detroit - JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU
R. Williams finally gets a big arm to get him the ball.
Cleveland - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
Injury issues drop him down, but could be the best back in the nfl next year.
Tampa Bay - Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
With Quinn and Russell off the board and no offers good enough for them to drop down and take Okoye or Johnson, so they grab the stud tackle.
*Minnesota - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
Arguably the top player in the draft. ( *Minny trades up with Arizona to get Johnson )
Washington - Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
Building their defense up from the inside out.

Phins couldnt turndown the star potential of an already hellava defense.

San Francisco - Jamaal Anderson, DE, Arkansas
Ridiculous pass rush potential.
Buffalo - Levi Brown, OT, Penn St.
Protecting and giving Losman time is imperative.
St. Louis - Quentin Moses, DE, Georgia
Craves for his upside at end.
Carolina - Pat Willis, LB, Ole Miss
Willis will replace Morgan and is that leader that can change the face of a defense like Ray Lewis.
Pittsburgh -Justin Blalock, OL, Texas
Blalock provides immediate help and versatility to the Steelers Oline.
Green Bay - Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska
Adam Carriker is an interesting blend of talent. He has excellent size and strength, but has the athleticism to go along with it.
Jacksonville - Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida St.
The playmaker at LB was a surprise entry, but is a potential first round pick.
Cincinnati - LaRon Landry, S, LSU
The standout safety will help immediately.
Tennessee - Ted Ginn, WR, Ohio St.
Could form as exciting a QB/WR duo as there is in the league.
NY Giants - Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal
He could go higher in April, but not many are looking at backs up until this point.
Denver - Reggie Nelson, S, Florida
A true ballhawk in the secondary.
New England (from Sea) - Paul Posluszny, LB, Penn St.
His mentality ( no concusion or stroke problems ) on the field is perfect for the Patriots defense.
Dallas - Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU
Owens may not return, Terry Glenn will be thirty-two prior to next season beginning and Patrick Crayton will become a restricted free agent. Nuff said
Kansas City - Sidney Rice, WR, South Carolina
Rice's draft stock could fluctuate greatly depending on his postseason workouts.
New Orleans - Darrelle Revis, CB, Pitt
The offense has a little talent, now it’s time to address the defensive side of the ball.
NY Jets - Michael Bush RB 6'3 247 Louisville
Big time replacement for Curtis Martin. Top ten talent and proves he still has it in the combine after his injury.
Philadelphia - Brandon Meriweather, S, Miami
Another true ballhawk in the secondary.
New England - Daymeion Hughes, CB, Cal
Possibly the best ball skills of any corner in the draft.
Baltimore - Robert Meachem, WR, Tennessee
The offense needs a playmaker at receiver.
San Diego - Arron Sears, OL, Tennessee
All top recievers gone, Chargers solidfy the line.
Indianapolis - Buster Davis, LB, Florida St.
Some youth at linebacker would be a big boost
Chicago - Zach Miller, TE, Arizona St.
An intermediate threat for Grossman could help him out a lot with his consistency.
 
Looks good to me. It would be a tough decision for us if both Gaines Adams and Jamaal Anderson are still there, not that I'm complaining.
 
ive asked this question a few times and havnt gotten an answer...can gaines adams actually play 3-4 outside backer?

That sounds nice and everything Twix, but there's a fella in the league named Ladanian Tomlinson. He is one of the best running backs in NFL history and you think Peterson can be better than him as a rookie?

After LT, of course there is the likes of Larry Johnson, Frank Gore, Steven Jackson, et al. And you think Peterson can be better than them too, especially if he goes to a poor team like he is obviously going to?

Yes he has the talent to be so, but unfortunately there are other factors to be considered. Thats why I said he could, not will be.
 
no thanks to adams we need to get a speedy wr or OL help at the 9 pick..no more defensive picks that early...
 
No way the Texans pick Hall that high. If they went DB it'd be Landry or Nelson.

Probabaly, but no one knows for sure until he's out there doing it.
 
leon hall goes way to high in this. i dont like the gaines adams pick with 9. we need offensive help

Browns desperate to draft Peterson


According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, someone "well-connected" with the Browns has convinced him that they want Adrian Peterson desperately.

We are still a long way from the draft and this could be a smokescreen, but the top of the draft is starting to take shape. The Raiders are rumored to want JaMarcus Russell, the Browns - Peterson.
