Oakland - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
Andrew Walter and Aaron Brooks just are not getting it done.
Detroit - JaMarcus Russell, QB, LSU
R. Williams finally gets a big arm to get him the ball.
Cleveland - Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin
With Quinn and Russell off the board, they grab the stud tackle.
Tampa Bay - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech
Arguably the top player in the draft.
Arizona - Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson
The Cards have to upgrade their perimeter pass rush.
Washington - Quentin Moses, DE, Georgia
They gamble on his upside at end.
Minnesota - Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC
Vikes finally lands a go to receiver since Moss.
Houston - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma
Reggie Bush who?? Injury issues drop him down, but could be the best back in the nfl next year.
Miami - Levi Brown, OT, Penn St.
Protecting and giving Culpepper time is imperative. Unless Baker and Long enter the draft Brown is the man.
Atlanta - Alan Branch, DT, Michigan
The Falcons could run the ball, but they sure couldn't stop the run. Branch will clog the middle while Abraham attacks the ends.
San Francisco - Ted Ginn Jr, WR, Ohio St.
His explosiveness is something the offense lacks.
Buffalo - Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona
With Thomas and Adams off the board, they reach a little for a corner.
St. Louis - Pat Willis, LB, Ole Miss
Willis is that leader that can change the face of a defense like Ray Lewis.
Carolina - Paul Posluszny, LB, Penn St.
His mentality on the field is perfect for the Panther’s defense.
Pittsburgh - - LaMarr Woodley, LB/DE, Michigan
Next in line to be another Steeler great linebacker. Steelers go with BPA.
Green Bay - Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
Green Bay would be happy if he’s half as good as the last Michigan first round cornerback.
Jacksonville - Justin Blalock, OL, Texas
Blalock provides immediate help and versatility to the Jags Oline.
Cincinnati - Demarcus Tyler, DT, North Carolina St.
They have to address the interior Dline.
Tennessee - Quinn Pit****, DT, Ohio St.
Like many other teams, shoring up the defensive line is a must.
NY Giants - Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal
He could go higher in April, but not many are looking at backs up until this point.
Denver - Darrelle Revis, CB, Pitt
Bailey needs help especially after the death of D. Williams.
New England (from Sea) Dallas - LaRon Landry, S, LSU
The standout safety will help immediately.
Kansas City - Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville
Upgrading the interior is a must.
New Orleans - Lawrence Timmons, LB, Florida St.
The playmaker at LB was a surprise entry, but is a potential first round pick.
NY Jets - Michael Bush RB 6'3 247 Louisville
Big time replacement for Curtis Martin. Top ten talent and proves he still has it in the combine after his injury.
Philadelphia - Reggie Nelson, S, Florida
A true ballhawk in the secondary.
New England - HB Blades, LB, Pitt
Linebackers age, injuries and free agency have caught up with the team here and they really need to start planning for the future.
Indianapolis - Buster Davis, LB, Florida St.
Some youth at linebacker would be a big boost
Baltimore - Troy Smith QB 6'1 215 Ohio St.
Grooming McNair successor starting now.
Chicago - Zach Miller, TE, Arizona St.
An intermediate threat for Grossman could help him out a lot with his consistency.
San Diego - Steve Smith WR 6' 200 USC
Sure handed Smith gives Rivers added weapons.

Levi Brown at #9....REAAAAAAAACHHHHHHHH

Your drafting him for need and need only. And Brown probably wont make a very good LT in the NFL.

Steve Smith in the 1st? He might be a 2nd day pick..

I'd flip the first 2.

I agree that Brown would be a reach at 9, but I could see Smith going that high. Especially since SD needs some WRs.

I agree Smith is talented, but steve smith over the likes of...

Jeff Samardzija, Sidney Rice, Marcus Monk... im not so sure.

Did Rice declare for the draft yet?? I thought he was going back to school.

I think Samardzija is overrated, plus he's gonna try to play baseball too which could be a distraction.

Rice is a baller though. Its a toss up.

Per Todd McShay on Espn.com
Quote:
A source close to the situation reports that South Carolina WR Sidney Rice, a third-year sophomore, has left campus and is setting up shop in Arizona, where he will train for pre-draft workouts. According to the source, Rice has yet to tell coach Steve Spurrier and the Game****s' staff. He plans to do so Monday before making his decision public. Rice projects as a late first-round pick in a wide receiver class that seemingly strengthens by the day.

If Rice or Monk enter the draft they will go a lot higher than the last pick of the first round. Jeff Samardzija I have a feeling will show that he isnt very fast after the combine. He wil go somewhere in the second. Smith is a west coast player that will be welcomed.

I agree with you on Samardzija. I think that was just the Notre Dame fighting irish in general. Quinns overrated. the entire teams overrated. (im an LSU fan, go figure)

Rice will easily be drafted before Jeff. I kind of always felt rice was gonna come out, seemed like one of those guys to me that just wanted to get out int he league ASAP.

You really see miami passing on Branch and Willis though for Levi Brown? I mean i know DT and OLB are not the greatest of needs, but they both are gonna be much better players IMO. Also, landry is the best safey in this draft, how do you have him falling so far to the patriots?

I agree, rather have Branch or Willis over Brown.

No way Landry drops that far either, although I don't agree he's the top safety.

With Zach Thomas not even hinting retirement, I dont see the phins drafting guy to groom behind Thomas in the first round. Branch is a big guy and the phins have talented young bigs in Rod Wright and Fred Evans. If the phins move back to 4-3 than another tackle be likely but the phins are crowded at the DT position. I dont see phins making another move there when they are so terrible at other positions like LT and CB. So drafting Branch and Willis would be lateral moves. The needs at CB and LT are so bad you cant just ignore it any longer with these bandaids players.

He was the top Safety picked. Other teams choose other positions to upgrade. Or was it that you just dont want to patriots to draft him

I agree Brown would be a reach at 9, but what makes you think he won't be a good LT in the NFL? He's consistently performed at a high level since his freshman year.
