Okay...what do you think of these two games?

Oklahoma @ UCLA...as of today...UCLA -7 1/2

Michigan St. @ Norte Dame...Norte Dame -6 1/2

Who do you guys like? I already know who I'm leaning towards but if there is something you could tell me about UCLA I would appreciate it. How is their QB and D-Line?

Go Fins!!!

UCLA probably has the best defense in the pac-10. their front 7 is great. 8-9 men will be in the box at all times and peterson should be contained easily, putting the game in bromar's hands

actually i read that their front 7 isn't that good and inconsistent.

Oklahoma started the season by coming out flat and Adrian Peterson looked kind of average...I dont know that much about UCLA but I think they can make this a close game....Notre Dame looks for real...I think they will handle State just like they did Meeeeeechigan.

^lol, i'd like to see where you read that

here is the link...and here is the section that mentions how terrible their D-Line was last season...and how they won't be so great this season as well...so where did you get your facts from?

"DEFENSE: UCLA was nothing short of terrible against opposing rushing attacks last season and its pass defense wasn't scaring anyone either. This season should be different on this side of the ball for the Bruins, who return eight starters from a year ago. As usual for UCLA the linebackers are the strength of the unit, including All-American Spencer Havner who tallied 125 tackles and 8.5 TFLs a year ago. While Havner is not extremely fast, he is superbly instinctive and tough as anyone in the nation against the run. Fellow linebackers Justin London and Wesley Walker both finished with 57 stops in 2004 and should both eclipse those numbers with another year under their belts. The Bruins will have to replace cornerback Matt Clark and free safety Ben Emanuel to a secondary that gave up way too many yards last season. Strong safety Jarrad Page is going to provide some stability to the secondary, having registered 79 tackles and three interceptions in 2004. UCLA had little to show in terms of pass rush last year and that will again be the case this season, as the defensive line is not overly intimidating."

man that's a terrible rating. they're going off of last year and not predicting any kind of change. the fact is they had injuries up front that hurt more than anything, and all of the players are back, and they should be MUCH better. the pass rush is pretty weak, but against the run? they're great. this guy did mention the great linebackers though, and it's arguably one of the better units in the country. this guy didn't even really go completely against what i said, contrary to what you think

well...he didn't say that UCLA is the best Defense in the Pac-10 and how strong their front 7 are like you stated.

I'm worried about this ND game. Michigan St always plays us tough, especially in ND for some reason. They have a good offense, so this will be a test for our D. It just has the feel of a let down game to me also. First home game, just entered the top 10 etc. Hopefully Weis has them fired up, and focused.

I'm really hoping they can beat USC and Tennessee.
