the secondary's weakest links. Tillman and Lehan may have played well at times and even made interceptions but have both got burned for big plays time and time again. IMO these two players are very bad in covering and always seem to be out of position to make plays when really needed. I hope in the future we can upgrade our backups in the secondary. :ninja:

Tillman is a back-up with starting experience. I don't mind him so much. With Allen playing corner now, Lehan is going to get bumped back. I don't even see him in on dime formations. Lehan as a fifth corner I don't mind.

So we are playing the Pats and Bell is sitting out and Tillman is replacing him and Moss burns the defensive back do you trust Tillman to cover him? I am always worried when Tillman is in coverage even though he has started before.:ninja:

Shridonya Mitchell is likely to take Lehan's spot this year.

I was just checkin out Shridonya's NFLE stats and he's had a pretty good start to the season, he's started all 4 games, 12 tackles, 7 passes defensed and 1 INT that he took to the house 81 yards

I don't trust our starting safeties to cover him either. Without double or triple coverage, Moss out-jumps the defensive back.

What back-up safety in the NFL can you count on for covering Moss one on one?

I hate lehan sooo much. Hopefully we can drop him before the season starts.

I was shocked to say the least when the Dolphins resigned Lehan because i feel he is our worst defensive player on the team. I say get rid of this weak link right away.:ninja:

I agree we got burnt way to much last season. But how much was it the players and how much was it interference from the not to be named past coach? Dom was here, I'm sure he had input as who needed to go and who should stay. Plus thay said they were going to simplify the D, so hopefully thay will get it done. But I'm hoping it doesn't get that far, 3 sacks and out!

I've never seen a thread with so much nonchuk smilies.

But yeah, I'm not worried. Barring a mass of injuries, we wouldn't have to worry about Lehan starting.

Edit: Though I much rather see Mitchell starting.

lehan is a clown..he has cememnt hands and makes stupid penalites...as for tillman i happen to think he could help us on special teams or depth at the safety spot

Personally i dont like Lehan, and Tillman just plain sucks.
Tillman can tackle and thats all.I was surprised that they both were resigned.
I hoped for that upgrade but we have to live with them a little longer. Was Shridonya a Undrafted FA,how did we get him ?

I forget.

i hope both of them are gone by the end of training camp. dont forget we also have cameron worrell from the bears, he is 10 times better than tillman and will probably be our back-up safety or even starter depending on how things go with bell and hill.
