It's not really a big deal, but I was surprised, especially with the way the media seems to view Miami. It's actually not a sweep, 4 to Denver but two to Miami. It doesn't really matter if all Denver is picked or Miami, but I thought I should post something out of the ordinary. Denver is tough, but I do think Miami has a pretty decent chance at beating them, it will most likely be a close game. Miami always seems to player Denver tough, or the other way around, Denver's D is good, but nothing like Carolina's D.

against the spread though... they arent picking us to straight up win, just to cover...

:rofl3:

Anyway, we're going to cover the spread which i think is Miami +4? So Denver will not beat us by more than 4 points? Considering i think they'll beat us by more than a FG i dont see how that's going to work.

Just checked out the new Simmons NFL preview on ESPN and he sees the Fins going 7-9. Got to like that.. Bills 6-10...

Why would The Bengals by chosen all the way across, they are 3.5 not much of a difference from the 4.5 that Denver is favored. They have the spread across with the picks, but it looks like the individual experts are picking who will win. Just like on the sports pages of newspapers on the back, or on CBS, where Boomer, Dan, Jim Nantz, and whoever else, Deion Sanders I think pick the winners for each game, and some end up being a sweep, and other games end up being a split because Dan and Boomer picked the same team, and Nantz, and Deion picked the other team. Harmon and Bromberg picked Miami to win the games, whereas Prisco ofcourse, and the rest went with the Broncos.

Who cares man... nobody picked us to win any last season and they were mistaken 4 times out of 16...

This season they will not start picking us to win until we are like 9-1 or something...

Games are played on sundays, on the field.

Enjoy the season guys and gals... remember, we were 4-12 last season, keep that in mind if you are building yourselves any expectations.

Because Cleveland sucks and Cincy is on the rise big time...They have 10 times the talent the Browns have...Plus Boomer and Deion are Cincy homers.

yeah, that's my point Cleveland does suck, that's why I'm not surprised to see everyone picking Cincy, but this had to do with the response I got that had do with the spread and covering, that's why I was saying that. If Miami was picked just to cover then why weren't the Bengals too. Two individaul guys think Miami will win, Harmon and Bromberg, wheras the rest just like the majority of opinions from the media that think the Broncos will win. No doubt, Cincy will probably beat Cleveland.
