Salisbury Steak and Jaws on ESPN:

"There's been some talk out of Miami that Chambers is not a number one receiver," said Steak.

"Oh really?" asked Jaws incredulously.

"Guess again!" exclaimed Steak.

Then they dissected CC's amazing catch from the last play of the Buffalo game.

I'm not stating my own opinion here, just what I observed.

Chris is a number one receiver that has been saddled with a number two quarterback at best for his career.

Yeah he's a first round talent with 3rd round concentration, at times. I think when people say he's not a #1 they forget that there've been some pretty great #1 guys that have had their share of dropped passes.

Up untill Last year T.O was known for dropping to many easy balls

And the same two guy's would say if he dropped 10 passes....he's not a number 1 receiver.

Bingo, we have a winner! concentration is what holds him down!

You know the other thing you have to throw in there with the drops is that he does make some truly special catches. Its not like drops good throws and then does nothing to make up for it, he makes some very, very tough catches that a lot of number one receivers couldent make. Still needs to be more consitant and cut down on the fumbles but I think is and will continue to be a no. 1.

Yep, but, what if...

What if he pulls a Jason Taylor in the offseason and really perfects his game and betters his concentration? Then our passing game would get a huge boost.

when was this?, what show sportscenter, nfl live, what espn show? and what time?

You still think that Zach should move to saftey?

Sure...why not....he can play safety and JT can play receiver....now wouldn't that be a site? :D

I'd like to see Cris Carter work with him. Does anybody know if while he was here in 2002, he worked with Chambers? Carter caught so many balls in practice that it became automatic for him in a game. Maybe if Chambers gets Carter's work ethic, he won't drop those easy balls in games.

Many ELITE WR's have that situation yet they continue to be ELITE WR's.

I hate this excuse for CC. If he was as good as some of us thought he would make the QB a better player!
