The Dolphins are discussing whom to induct into their Honor Roll, and Don Shula -- who is consulted -- said he would support adding .............,,,,,and .....................FYI: Shula, who opened a steakhouse in New Orleans this month, said touring the hurricane-ravaged city was emotional. ``It was really a lot worse than I thought.''

Fill in the blanks.

What is the honor roll? It's different from the ring of honor, right?

Yes thats right.I couldnt spell it all on the title so I had to abbreviate it.

Now that the cat is out of the bag lets speculate on who else deserves to be there now and who would you like to see in it in the future and why ?

Clayton and Duper, Don Shula, team founder Joe Robbie and quarterback Dan Marino, Nat Moore, Bob Kuechenberg, Dwight Stephenson, Larry Little, Nick Buoniconti, Paul Warfield, Jim Langer, Bob Griese, Larry Csonka and the 1972 undefeated team are up there already and I think that those are the guys that deserve to be there. I would like to see Offerdahl and Webb added because they are two greats and I think they deserve it as for others I think Zach and JT will be there eventually.

Likely candidates .....

Offerdahl: ROY' 86; 5 X Pro Bowler ... where injuries shortened his career ... In his prime, he was BETTER than Zach is today ...

Webb: 1990s All Decade Team ... 7 X Pro Bowler ... Most consecutive starts - 118 ... He is too 'noticeable' on Dolphins Records to NOT be included ... I personally thought he was too 1 dimensional, but you can't argue with the accomplishments

If you think about it is a really short list. The Dolphins have been discriminating and I think thats a good thing. If you keep adding names , 50 yrs down the line there will be over 100 names and that will diminish the importance of the really great ones.

If coach Saban wanted a challenge to build a team from the ground up, then he needs to thank Dave and Rick for laying the ground work.
