If we're going to trade JT (not saying I want to but), why not talk to Arizona about Larry Fitzgerald?

1. Jason Taylor to the Cardinals for Larry Fitzgerald. Give him a new contract and pay him well over five years. He's a 24 Year Old Pro Bowler for Gds Sake!

2. #1 Overall to Atlanta for #3 overall and DeAngelo Hall. This is going to be a bit harder to pull off but Atlanta is said to be coveting Ryan.

These two moves alone fit in with the youth/rebuilding movement. You could focus on Oline and DLine in the draft and maybe pick up Joe Flacco in the second.

Future would be bright with these moves. :err:

I can't see Arizona trading Fitz straight up for JT

Atlanta would be foolish to pull the trigger on that trade. The Rams are clearly not going QB at 2 and I think they will call our bluff on Ryan at #1.

I could see Arizona moving Fitzgerald, but I think they would want picks. The Cards are 2-3 years from contending depending on Leinart's progress, so I don't think they would panic and add JT.

The Arizona Republic is stating that the Cardinals..

are not interested in what Philly is offering, which includes Sheppard and wr Reggie Brown. Something tells me they would not be interested in a player who is 10 years older than the guy they want to trade. I realize Taylor's legacy, but that simply will not happen. Miami would have to give up significant draft picks and or players (of which they dont' have many). I would guess they would require someone like a Ronnie Brown. And I do not see that happening.
Haven't heard a thing about the linebacker they didn't tender and Bill was supposedly interested in.

I would love to see Fitz come to MIA, but I just don't see it happening. Unfortunatly, I don't see us trading down either. I really want 1 of those players real bad though.

I would give JT, our #32 pick, a 3rd rounder and a 2nd or 3rd next year for Fitz. This is the guy I really want to see Miami try to acquire. I know it probably wont happen, but a player like Fitz fits in perfectly to Parcells plan of a foundation for the future.

I understand your point and can't say that I disagree, but that article in the Arizona Republic points out quite correctly that Arizona is going to HAVE to move Fitzgerald. Either that or pay him which they obviously aren't in position to do.

We have the cap space to sign Fitzgerald to a big time contract. I'm not so sure Philly does. Fitzgerald could control the situation here. If Philly trades for him, he could stop it by refusing to negotiate a contract. Let's face it, if Philly can't pay him what he wants, and we can, then Arizona will have no choice in the matter.

Imagine what Larry Fitgerald would mean to our young team. #1 receiver to pair opposite Ginn. Wilford moves to the #3 receiver spot.

That's a pretty formidable receiving corp.

It's not a likely scenario, but Arizona has been backed into a corner. They could do worse than getting the former Defensive MVP.

too much madden. why would arizona trade for a 33 year old featherweight defensive end? as for the falcons, i would like hall too, but i think our 2nd would get it done. now get back to that 360 homey.

I wouldn't mind seeing former Gator Lito Sheppard in Miami. That might be a Quick fix for the secondary. Of course the price must be right.

....how do you guys come up with this. You can't just slap on one STAr player for another. Especially since Fitz is very young compared to Taylor. No team would do that kind of a trade. Any team that trades for Taylor will only get a couple more years of GREAT football from him. Fitzgerald still has LOTS of years left in him.

we need our picks & thats way too much. Swap 1st rounders & # 32. thats it
