Two Players cut in Detroit...

I dont see why not, Shelton is still pretty young.

Daniel? Eh, id rather someone who is actually good. Mariota would be the perfect backup for Tua

Not against Shelton but the draft does have quite a few options for NT

Nah.... both past their prime.... scratch that- we never saw Chase play so who knows if he had a prime

Shelton might be the type of player we look at in about three weeks once the prices have dropped and veterans are desperate for whatever one-year deal they can get.

Daniel, hard NAH.

Think Danny Shelton could help us up front. I'd definitely be into bringing that dude in for a good tire kicking.

Chase Daniel was talked up for years about his potential to start somewhere, then as a fantastic backup. Dude has stayed in the league for a while, but every time he steps in due to an injury and has a chance, he sucks. I'd rather coax Matt Moore back!

I'd take Shelton in a heartbeat... if the price is right.

He's only 27, and only made 4M last year. I think he's probably as good, or better than Godchaux.

Apparently Daniel is a great locker room guy and solid with his interpretation of plays he sees from the sideline which would be useful for Tua yet not put pressure on him.

Shelton would be solid in the run game and well worth it if reasonably priced.

In Tuas backup I value mentorship and experience above play talent. The number one issue is Tuas development ( or whomever we mignt draft).

Mariota is looking for a team where he can compete to be the starter. That's not Miami.

I’d take both Shelton and Daniel as low cost guys who won’t impact comp picks.

Shelton I think It a perfect fit at that nose position, allows us to not have to force a Shelvin/Slaton pick (funny noticing Sheltons name is theirs combined)

Daniel I’m indifferent to. He sucks but is a good mind. Will eventually be a QB Coach for sure. He’s similar to fitz as he’s made a ton of money as a backup.
