but the first thing is THIS TEAM IS REALLY GOOD. For all who doubted Philbin, and I have had some doubts, he is doing an amazing job. We have had 3 very dominating wins in a row and we really should have 4 wins in a row. That Green Bay loss will be haunting on this season but I think it is what turned the corner for us. It told us that we are a team that can play with anyone. Outside of the last second win we have wins over Rivers, Culter and Brady this year (and almost one over Rodgers). Those 3 wins were dominating wins and those Pro Bowl QB's were made to look avg at best vs our defense. Our offense is clicking and Tannehill is looking more and more like the real deal with each passing game. He is very comfortable in the system, running plays that compliment his style and is making throws the best in the game make.

SECOND THING: Took my 6 year old son to his first Dolphins game in Jacksonville last week and he had the time of his life. Got some great pictures, we saw a dominating win, saw Marino, and then Courtland Finnegan gave my son his gloves after the game. Talk about taking a kid and making him a fan for life. My son is ALL IN now and will be for life because of this lone gesture. You really can't top an experience like that (other than being on the field or in the locker room). Maybe next year when we play at Jacksonville again. :hump:

You have to love it when your team wins big on the road. The home town fans leave and you can move up to front row seats. Thanks for sharing.

We were actually sitting on the other side behind the Dolphins bench and saw how empty it was by the tunnel on the opposite side with 5 min left. Asked my son if he wanted to go over there and he was all for it. The move clearly paid off.

Funny story...Twice in the game I took my son to the bathroom. Both times on the way back to our seats, coming out of the tunnel, the Dolphins defense had a pick 6 right in front of us. I debated spending the rest of the game in the bathroom if those were the results. Crazy to witness.

A valid argument can be made that our QB has been playing at Top 10-level, or better over 3.5 of the last 5 games. It's all very encouraging. Glad your son had a ball. He's at a fun age.. enjoy it cuz it goes by faster than you'd think.

MY TWO THINGS:

1) I fear next week's game will come down to Sturgis vs Prater. And if so this board will go ballistic.

2) I pray that the December 14th game at New England is flex-worthy. But do not flex that game! The Dolphins best chance for winning is to keep the normal 1:00pm start.

if Sturgis is on the roster for next week's game, that is by itself a failure.

Agree. From halftime of the GB game I would venture to say maybe only Big Ben and Brady have been better. Tannehill has been that good.

Said before if we come out of this 4 game stretch 2-2 then I would be happy. 3-1 I would be beyond thrilled. I think Denver will give us fits and Detroit should. However, you just never know what Lions team you are going to face. It will be very hard for us to run on their DL but in turn if we can get pressure on Stafford it will make for a very good day.

Stafford is a not as good Cutler prone to stupid ****

Stafford is better than Cutler but is quite probe to throwing off his back foot. The problem with Stafford is he has the talent to make any throw. How is that a problem? Well, because of this talent he forces throws when he shouldn't because he believe he can make the throw. The end result is either a lucky catch for Detroit or an INT. As long as we can get pressure on Stafford, and force the back foot throws, we have a very good chance in this game.
