Unhappy Law May Leave Jets

Law hasn't had a great season with the Jets, and he is aging, but maybe after healing for a full season, coming down to play for Miami, having a defense similar to the Patriots, ain't so bad an idea. We need a CB anyway, and he would fit in better than Madison would.

Nah..you keep Mr. "Enigma/non vocal leader " who hangs out with the Patriots every Monday.

Just what we need another old broken down player to end his career in Miami. Thanks but no thanks.

Only if he came for cheap
He's not going to come here for cheap, but he might willing to come in cheaper here than almost anywhere else, especially since Saban is a DB guru who uses a system similar to Belichick. He could bring leadership to a secondary that is lacking in this area. (Sam is no leader).
I wouldn't be completely surprised if he went back to New England.

Why would he decide to come here for less money next year, when he turned it down this year. I wouldn't mind having him here, but is he a Saban type player??

He won't have to pay state income tax.

Hey I rather bring in an injured-but-healing proven playmaker like Law than college injury-prone underachievers many around here seem to be drooling about for next year's draft.

You think the Jets will cut Law after one year? I don't. Other than Vilma he's been their best defensive player. I can only imagine how good our secondary would have been with Daniels learning as a nickelback instead of a starter. Law would be worth 2 maybe 3 wins this year.

I think the rebuilding Jets would not want to pay Law an $11 million option bonus due next March. Plus he's reportedly not happy there. Plus, if we think he really can help us, we can afford to pay him, and kiss Howard and Sammie goodbye.
