Jeff Darlington, of the Palm Beach Post, reports the signing of CB Will Allen by the Miami Dolphins likely eliminates the potential addition of free agent CB Ty Law (Jets). The Dolphins expressed interest in Law, who was waived by the Jets as a salary cap casualty. Adding both Law and Allen would probably cost more than the Dolphins are willing to spend. :boohoo:

i dont see Law getting a lot of money from anyone. Especially with another corner like Woodson in the market.

so whats ur point....who cares???? Law was good last year but not great....and he's too expensive...ill take woodson before law...but at this point i dont think we are going for more CB in FA

Will Allen is cheaper and younger. Ty Law only has a couple years left in him until his age slows him down. Saban's free agent signings are nice. He is getting players that will fit his system and not paying huge chunks of money on superstars. (Culpepper is an exception to this, but we are in need of a superstar at that position!) I would like to see Saban sign another O-lineman, but other than that I am happy at what he has done so far.

law had like 10 ints and went to the probowl if im not mistaken, i might be wrong though..

can one of you guys please explain to me how to post a new thread?!?!? help me please!!

Saban most likey wont sign law because he getting older our D is old as it is he's more into younger players "Will Allen"

can you guys tell me how to post your own thread? im new

Ty Law is an exceptional tackler, something Will Allen isnt.

Law led the league in INTs last year and was a pro-bowler.

At the price we can get him at, itd be stupid not to look into it.

if not newbie's, just go to the main page click on forums (located under the list of recent threads), then click on the subject named "Miami Dolphins", and then to the left you will see a button named "New Thread". Good luck.

What! will allen in the past five years had 265 tackles, ty law had 246, and sam madison had 164!!!!!! for the money, i will take will allen. he had more passes defended than madison too by a lot. the only problem with will allen, is that he cant catch. as long as hes not getting burned and deflects passes into the ground thats fine with me.

I Agree

Ok Saban has made it clear that he wants young talent, we can see this in about everything he has done. Allen will be a much better pick-up than law would ever be based on both the monetary and longevity aspects. We need to look to the draft for a CB, and concentrate the rest of the FA period on LB and O-line.

both of them suck. Law is too old and wants too much money. People who say he got 10 Ints, that means that other teams were throwing his way all the time. Why is that? Because he also had an obscene amount of PIs.

Woodson has never been the same since his injury. He has been trying to float by on his reputation and like Law he overvalues his talent.
